we have an ADR for the 4pm show tomorrow. What time do we need to be there? Also, my husband is interested in taking the boat. So we r planning on going from POR to MK to Ft. Wilderness. Sound ok? TIA

2. Yup. Give yourself 75 minutes to complete the trip, in case of unexpected delays.

I agree with Robo with the time and if I remember correctly there is a playground on your short walk from the dock. that would be a place for kids to run if you are early

Yes, the playground is still there, just west of Trail's End Restaurant.

This! And yes give yourself time to get there, you just never know when an unexpected delay can happen. This happened to us when taking the boat from MK to FW in 2013. We got on the boat and had to make an unexpected stop to pick people up at the Contemporary. The boat was already running behind to get us all to the 6:15pm show and we already thought we were going to be late... So when they announced that they were stopping at CR, everyone was really annoyed and worried we'd be even later. We ended up pulling up to the dock at 6:15.

Also we all know how the rain can be in Florida. In 2012, we were at BLT and planned on taking the boat right to FW but a storm rolled through, so the boats weren't running, so we needed to take a cab and them use the internal buses at FW. The more time you allow, the better.
