What time for drop off and pick up?

Trying to decide what time for this for our upcoming cruise. In the past we have always arrived early enough to sit for awhile before boarding starts.

This time, we are using a private car service from a hotel by the airport to port and back to the airport. We have a 12:30 flight on debarktion day so not in a big rush that day.

What is your preference for drop off and pick up time and why?

I am unsure of what u r looking for. You have a PAT for boarding and you must be off the ship at designated time.

I'd rather be early and wait than be late and sweating.....................

What time is your PAT? I honestly feel there's little need to arrive earlier than that, unless you have a late PAT. The "sweet spot" for arrival is probably arriving around 12:30pm; you are only about an hour or so behind the first people to board but don't have the crowds or waiting.

DCL asks everyone to be off the ship by 9:00am. You can plan to debark then and have the car service meet you around 9:30.

We have a 10:30 PAT but are traveling with first time cruisers that have 11 AM. I am just trying to decide if we should get picked up in Orlando in order to arrive at 11 and wait to board or come later and get right on the ship. I guess I will ask my friends what they would prefer to do and go with that. From what I have been seeing recently, most of the time boarding starts sometime between 11:30 and noon. Is that correct?

Coming back, I was thinking that a meeting time of 830 or 9 AM would get us off the ship in time and back to the airport in plenty of time. I am wondering how often the ship might be delayed by customs where that time frame wouldn't work? I hope that planning about 30 minutes to get off, get our bags and get to the curb to meet the driver should be enough time? I cannot remember from our last trip how long it took.
