What time for dinner @ 'Ohana for fireworks?

Of course, the hours aren't officially out yet, but does anyone know what time historically they are in August? We want to have dinner at 'Ohana and hopefully catch the MK fireworks while there. Can you see them from the restaurant or should we eat dinner first and then go down to the beach at the Poly? Any suggestions?

I'm not sure about the August hours for MK but we had dinner at 'Ohanas last year and I asked at the podium for a fireworks view. It was very very crowded and I didn't think we'd get it. We did not have a table directly in front of the windows but a table more in the middle of the room. The fireworks were fantastic and they piped in the music which made it even more special. I felt so fortunate to be sitting there on my wedding anniversary with my family and the fireworks going off over the castle as we ate dinner. I would say we probably had a ps about 45 minutes to an hour before the fireworks. It was a great evening and I would highly recommend the restaurant for that reason.

Of course not everyone in the restaurant had a good view like we did so you may want to take that into consideration. At least on the Poly beach, you know you'll be able to view the fireworks and won't have to spend $25 a head plus tip for the privilege. It's really up to you! Have a great trip.

I would recommend both. Have dinner at 'Ohana and then go down to the beach for the fireworks. IMO, 'Ohana is one of the best meals on property. Go hungry though, because you will be doing some serious eating. Also, you need to be a meat eater for this restaurant.

As for a PS time, the fireworks will most likely be at around 9:00 PM, so I would recommend a PS somewhere between 7:00 & 7:30.
