What time for California Grill

What time should I request for priority seating at the California Grill so I will be able to watch the fireworks?

It depends on when you're going. Wishes usually starts just as the park is closing. If the park is closing at say, 10 I usually go for an 8:45-9:15 PS.

When we went, we asked the phone operator to seat us around the fireworks and she timed it perfectly. We had just gotten seated and had ordered our meal when it started. By the time it was over and we came inside, our dinner was on the table.

We are going in October so I don't know what time wishes will be. I'm just trying to estimate.

I think when we went last Sept. we had a 7:30 or 8:00p PS. We were seated and ordered and wishes started not to long after that. DH might remember better he made the PS. I can check later.

We ate there last week and had a PS for 7:20 and were finished before the fireworks started. (We weren't staying for them anyway.)

But the hostess told us that even if we were finished before the fireworks, that since we had dinner there that evening, we were welcome to come back later for the fireworks.

So if you finished early (or wanted to eat earlier), you could go down to the 4th floor and hit the shops or hang out at the bar at the Outer Rim Lounge, or go down to the big arcade on the 1st floor. Then go back up to the 2nd floor (where you check in for CG) and they will let you go back up.

(Or they should - that's what they told me.)
