Just wondering what time we should make ADR for at the Kona Cafe the day we leave. Our flight leaves at 11:00.

We have ADR for 10 a.m. but our flight got moved earlier so now we need to change the time.

Thanks!

Laura

If you are using ME they will want to pick you up three hours ahead of your flight - 8 AM. You would need an ADR at 7 AM.

Hi Laura
ME picks you up 3 hours BEFORE your flight, so does that mean you want breakfast? I do not think transport starts before 7:30am so you'd need to get there if not staying at poly, which means a cab. If your at POLY, It looks like you need a 7am meal time to make your ME pick up.
We had dinner there and it was our FAVORITE meal while on property.

Kona does not open for breakfast until 7:30. With an 11am flight, I do not see how you would have time to eat and make it to the airport. Sorry!

We will have a rental car but we will need to drop it off. We are planning on using RAC for our luggage.

Also, I checked again and our flight leaves at 11:51 not 11:00. It's changed a couple times but hopefully we are done now!)

Thanks again!

Laura

Like PPs have said, I would still try to make it as early as you guys can eat, but I do think you have time as long as you are on the way to the airport by 845.

I would book for 8am. Allowing an hour for breakfast and a half hour to drive to MCO, you still have over two hours to return the car and make it through the sometimes long security lines. But this assumes you will use RAC before heading to the Polynesian.

Breakfast at Kona...what a great way to end a WDW trip!:goodvibes

on 28th for a 6pm flight it took OVER an hour to get thru security. Then flight was actually delayed hour for weather. Just don't cut it too close as MCO is often unpredictable!

I had forgotten how long security can be. We are coming back on a Sunday which could mean a long wait.

We may have to skip Kona. :sad1: I am not sure I want to get up so early our last day. We will have had a very busy week! I wish our flight had not been moved earlier!

Thanks for the advice!

Laura
