What TIME does your holiday vacation start?

I've been off since December 15th at 1:15 pm (teacher ). I go back to work January 2nd.

17 days off!

DW gets off today (Dec. 21) at 5pm. Goes back Jan. 2nd.

2:30 today. I'm off until 1/2, but will probably come back 12/28 & 12/29 for atleast 1/2 days.

I've been on vacation since 3:30 last Friday. I go back the second of January. DS's last day is today and he goes back the third. DH... he only gets Christmas Day and New Years Day off! Today is my last quiet morning alone. I've LOVED having a few days to myself!

Mine started at 6pm yesterday (I work in the afterschool program after my job as a para educator). Dh's starts Monday , but he gets the whole week off.

I'm a para educator in the public school system. Dh works for a university.

Tomorrow at 12:00 pm until 8:30 the 3rd.

But we leave 5:00 am on Saturday for the in-laws, and then go straight to the Mountains for skiing at New Years. Lots of packing to do tomorrow!

I guess 5pm tomorrow unless they let us out early. Then we are closed Monday and Tuesday and I go back Wednesday. I'm not taking any time off since I'm not going anywhere everyone is coming to me!

Usually they let us go early around here on the Friday (tomorrow) before Christmas holiday. For Thanksgiving I stayed to answer phones specifically so I could leave early at Christmas. I'm pretty sure we're getting leave at 2:30 tomorrow and don't come back to work until next Wednesday, then we get a four day weekend for New Year's too.

I'm a long term substitute teacher. Love the time off but I'm not getting paid a dime for any of it. Oh well!!!

I would be interested to know what you all do that you have so much time off?

My company gives us Christmas Eve day and Christmas Day off each year. Since Eve is on a Sunday, they are giving us the day after Christmas (Tue) off instead. I took Wed-Fri off as vacation time, and NYD is on the following Monday, so that means I'm off from Sat Dec. 23 to Mon Jan. 1. I get all that time and only use 3 vacation days, that's a deal in anyone's book!

I'm done tomorrow (Friday) between 2:45 and 3:30. The students leave at 2:45. We normally leave right after them on the last day before a holiday but this year our principal reminded us that we have to be there till 3:30 and she's decided to scheduale a "short" meeting after school. Unfortunatly her short meetings are never short. Oh well, I'm off until Jan. 8th. I guess I can force myself to stay until 3:30.
