What time does ship pull back into port after trip?

Hi. I just booked a December 2004 cruise for 3 days. How early does ship pull back into Port Canaveral after trip? Also, how many have stayed at a WDW resort
for one night after the cruise? Thanks.

Seems to me it's really early, like 5 or 6 a.m., but of course you can't disembark until it is cleared by customs.
We have stayed an extra day several times, and I highly recommend it if you can. It definitely helps with the post-cruise depression.

Barb,....about post cruise depression. Of course the way you and Tony have things booked you are just about turning around and getting right back on anymore........ !!!! No time for depressions...right !!

I think we pulled into Port Canaveral by 5:30 - 6:00am. No one can leave the ship then because customs must clear it first. Instead you go to breakfast -- the timing depending on whether you had early or late dining rotation during the cruise. They want everyone off the ship after breakfast though, and they want you to take your carry on bag with you to the restaurant so you can leave right from there. We were off by 8:30am.

We went to AKL after our cruise. Last summer we went to WDW before the cruise, and I must say we liked going after much better. It softens the inevitable letdown you feel when you end your cruise. Instead of going directly home, we had wonderful WDW and a new resort to try to look foward to that day of debarkation.

Ship comes in about 5. Luggage is then cleared at 6 for laydown in the terminal. Debarkation starts about 7:30 and goes until about 9. You can trust me on this one, I've moved bags for going on 5 yrs now
