I don't mind getting up early in the morning but I do mind having to stay awake until the kids are sound asleep to put the gifts out
It's almost 11, DD is trying to fall asleep and DS hasn't come home yet. I think once she gets into a deep sleep Santa will come. I can't wait for DS to get home because he no longer has a curfew and I'm not sure where he went after our family get-together so he'll get first glimpse of Christmas I guess. Our Christmas Eve tradition of opening new pajamas has been "broken" -- when it became clear that he hadn't headed home at the same time as us tonight I finally let DD open her new Kimono from Crabtree & Evelyn, her first grown-up loungewear
She was expecting the same ole flannel pj pants and top and she was very happy with her first present of the holiday
Happy Holidays Everyone!

I told her she had to give me 5 minutes because Santa had left a mess in the living room.
Also wanted to know why I didn't leave his new sleepwear out for him to open when he got home
very early.
my parents never told me there wasn't a santa and as long as we said we believed we got santa presents
