What time does Hagrids virtual line become available each morning?

I plan to be in USF for early entry at 8am. Does Hagrids virtual que pass become available right at 9 like the app says? And can I get it from USF or do I have to go over to IOA by 9?

VQ reservations usually open sometime between 8:45 - 8:50. Start checking around 8:40. The first wave of reservations typically are gone before 9am (although more drop throughout the day - starting as early as 9:30-ish).

The VQ is open anywhere on Universal property - including the parks, Citywalk and the resorts.

We have been here 10 days. It has opened right before 845 the days we needed it. Today (friday) it was open when opened app at 830 on the boat to universal from rpr. We were able to book vq from boat.

I got mine last Mon. around 8:45am for a morning ride time. The day before, Sunday (Father's Day) it glitched out on me in the morning and I couldn't get any ride times, even though they looked like they were there. I kept checking throughout the day and was able to snag an evening ride time.

Each day we were there this week the app loaded times starting between 8:40-45. We were in the US side each time! No issues.

Yes, tonight friday afternoon there were lots of vqs available after 5pm. We rode twice, got vq 5 min before ride

Thanks. I have never used VQ. I assume you have to wait until after you time to pick another time? If you are there early but want a time later in the day, do you have to keep checking back or all times listed for entire day?

Yes, you have to get off ride before you can book another. If you already know you want to ride twice, you can book vq at 840 in am on two cell phones for the number of people in your party on each phone.

We usually booked for late morning at 840am, but I do remember seeing 3pm as an option in the morning. But if you check back later in day you may see vqs for later in day.

We are here today and got one while in the line to enter around 845am. Walked back to hogsmeade and changed our reservation for 910am from later in the morning. We did this at 9:04am and asked if we could go ahead and enter the line for which they replied yes.

No you do not have to have your tickets linked and you can use as many devices as you have to get virtual line access times but only one time per device until it’s used.

Interesting! So I am understanding this ... if my husband & I both have phones we can hold 2 virtual lines for everyone in our party at the same time? Maybe it's time to get kids phones too ;-).

They've been releasing them several times a day, it seems like in about 2 hour increments usually. Of course, this is always subject to change without notice, they've never officially said anything about when they will release availability for virtual ques.

They are definitely released throughout the day. Today I could regularly get a VQ for hagrids all through out the day.

I don't know what time they dropped this morning exactly but here was availability at 8:45 am

For those who care- availability disappeared about 1030ish this morning, then more showed up around 11. As of noon there is no availability. I'm randomly checking throughout the day, I'll post when more show up.
