What time does dinner start?

Im thinking about trying to secure the earliest possible dinner ADR, but I can't find anywhere that says what time they switch from the lunch menu to the dinner menu.

Usually it's about 3:30.

Really? On the Dis site, it said 5pm. Earlier would be much better for us though - is there anywhere else to confirm this?

OK - now Im confused. The dining page on The Dis says that lunch ends at 3, and dinner starts at 5. What happens with reservations in between?
