What time do the eggs hatch?

Do they hatch before our eyes, or do you just magically find them hatched?

From what I remember, last month they became cracked at first before actually turning into something. They'll all turn at the same time. So if you happen to be online and watching, you'll get to see it. Otherwise, you'll just see your hatchling next time you're on.

Well! Apparently the egg guy has other priorities.
Does he not realize that the lives dozens of DISers hang in the balance? Does he not care that laundry is going unwashed. Hungry children are staring fixedly at their otherwise occupied mothers who anxiously await the arrival of her newest hatchlings. What can the egg guy be so busy with today that he can not update the site and spawn the newest set of surprises. Perhaps he's watching football? Baking a cake? Doing his tax returns? Stuck on a "Change one letter"? OMG. Maybe his internet is down, and we all have to wait for the cable company to come out and fix his cable modem. Hang on girls. Hang on.
