What time do the boats start running from the WL these days?

Anybody know what time the first boat leaves the WL for the MK these days?

Also, is it a direct boat or does it also go to Fort Wilderness?

What about the first boat to the Contemporary?

The boats to MK start at 8:30, and they are direct unless there are a lot of guests waiting at FW.

The Bay Lake boats from WL to Contemp to FW start running at 7:30.

So, if you are trying to make it over to the MK to be among the first in line to get into the park, would it be better to take the boat to the Contemporary and then walk over to the MK??

Yes, you could do that. Keep in mind, though, that they aren't opening the turnstiles much earlier that official opening time nowadays. The earliest I've seen lately is about 8:50. So if you manage to arrive early, you are still going to stand around and wait.
