Hi.
I am taking my 6 year old daughter on December 2,2004 for 3 day cruise on Disney Wonder. I am buying airfare seperately, but was wondering could I make the 2:50pm flight back home in time? Any advice would be appreciated.

Definitely, and with plenty of time to spare. You have to be off of the ship by 9am, and the airport is only 40 minutes or so away from the port.

Off by 9:00 am? Why did I think we could get off later? I don't know if I'm going to be able to be awake and up and at 'em that early by the last day!

I would plan to get to the port by 10:30 or 11:00 on embarkation day so you can enjoy the beauty of the terminal and make the most of the ship. Although you can get there as late as 3:30 or 4:00 (I think) it's such a waste of time on the ship to get there late.

You have to be off the ship so they have time to get the debarking guests out of the area before the embarking guests arrive.

Have a WONDERful time.

You put your suitcases out between 9-11 pm the night before, so make sure you bring a carryon. Normally the ship docks around 6 am. They offer sit-down breakfast in whichever restaurant you were assigned the night before. People with early seating can have breakfast at 6:45 am, those with late seating eat at 8 am. Once the ship is cleared, you can debark. Usually it's around 7:30 am at the earliest. You must be off the ship at 9 am. The reason is that the ship starts a new cruise the same day, so the crew has to clean it and get it ready for people boarding at noon.

We were on the 9/11 MAgic. We had late seating for dinner so we went to breakfast at 8:00. Were were finished with breakfast and the ladies room and walked leisurely off the ship by 8:50. We found our luggage leisurely and a porter, checked our bags at the terminal and rode the DCL bus back to MCO. We arrived at the airport by 10:05 in plenty of time for our 1:55 flight!

Back from 9/19 cruise... On the last day, we went to have breakfast around 8-8:15am and then disembarked the ship and left the terminal around 9am.
