What Time Can I Book

Hello All,

Today is my first day as a full DVC member. My points were loaded and I booked a trip in June (could not get my home resort of Boardwalk, but this was expected due to the short notice)

My question is about booking my Christmas trip at the Boardwalk which will be December 23rd-December 27th. I know that Friday is the first day that I can book, but what time should I log in to book? Is it 12:01am on that day or sometime in the morning? It is a busy time so I want to make sure to be on top of it to get the Boardwalk (home resort)

If booking the day your 11 or 7 month window opens, on-line at 8 am eastern or 9 am eastern by phone.

While that's what they tell you, I was able to book a trip online this morning at 12:15 a.m. It may have been a glitch, but I might give it a try anyway.

Do you book either a 12/21/15 (home resort) or 8/21/2015 (non-home resort) check-in date or some other check-in date?

You situation does not apply to the OP.

The OP is asking specifically about booking right when the 11 (or 7) month window opens, which does not become available until 8 am eastern.

If booking after either window opens, the on-line system is available for at least 23 hours each day. There is a normal maintenance window sometime over night when on-line booking is not available.
