What the weather like in Wash. DC in April vs. June???

We are still talking about doing a DC vacation this year. I was wondering which month has the better weather. It's kind of rainy here in April. It would be either springbreak (second week in april) or after school gets out.
We will be camping at Cherry Hill. Heard rave reviews on it. Looks very nice on the website. I have a friend who went and she loved it. They even have a bus to take you to the Metro. Anyone stayed there?

Anyway I'll take any tips you have. Would hate to go and then be stuck in yucky rainy weather all week.

April is a beautiful month here, if you come at the end of April you may catch the Cherry Blossoms. June is nice too, but warmer. We have April showers and June showers, but not an extreme amount in either month, so if it were my choice, I'd pick April. There will be less tourists here then, for sure.

Where is Cherry Hill? In College Park, Maryland? If so, I drove by the place on my way to work, it looks nice. I'm not a camper though, so I don't know anything about the facilities.

Thanks Snoopy! Yes it is in College Park, Maryland. I have never been, but my friend loved her week there. I'm not a camper either. Well I'm not a normal camper...that would be more accurate. Our trailer has all the comforts of home. There's no way this girl is going anywhere near someplace she can't get cleanup and use her curling iron!
