What the heck is a Dole Whip??

I have been to the MK probably 25 times and have never had one, nor do I know where to get one? Whata the scoop? LOL

As you are walking into Adventureland, just over the bridge on the right, you can purchase pineapple ice cream concoctions. My son loves them.

It's the worse over sweetened pineapple soft serve I've ever eaten... Might be good to some, but not all!....we pass anymore...

its like a golden treat. it's pineapple soft serve. you can get it in a cup, twisted with vanilla, floated over pineapple ice cream or there's an orange one too I believe

I had read all of the raving about Dole Whip for years but had never tried one. I finally did on our last trip,and it was deliciously yummy! Very refreshing on a hot day.

I had never had one either, until our last trip 2 years ago.

I got mine in a cup so didn't have to worry about it melting all over my hands in a cone.

It was wonderful! Definitely want another (at least one) this next trip.

And it's nice to sit down to eat it, relax a bit and people watch.

Actually it's not ice cream- it's lactose free (and gluten free!) it does have sodium caseinate, so not safe for those who have a dairy allergy...

My mom and I got Dole Whips on our '09 trip (after reading about them here) but someone missed out during the next trip. Looking forward to them again in Feb.

Correct. Even though on the Disney Website they still call it ice cream which legally it isn't. Still love it though because it isn't ice cream.

Also most people call only the pineapple flavor Dole Whip* when all seven flavors (Disney only has 3) are Dole Whip. Also its fat free.

Personally, I'm one of the people that don't like them but my DW loves them. Two locations you can get them is Aloha Isle in the MK and Captain Cook's at the Poly. It's like a soft serve pineapple ice cream type stuff. Personally, I prefer a coke float!
