What tear-jerkers did NOT make you cry?

I must say I wanted both characters on Titanic to drown also.
I did cry at Terms but not for the Debra Winger character but rather for the kids and for the mother. Being a mother I put myself in her situation and that made me cry .

One of the worst movies for me was My Dog Skip. I cried when the credits came on in the beginning b/c I just knew in the end the dog was going to die!!

Titanic - no way was I crying at that crap. UGH! Let them all drown and be done with it.

I cry at all the movies many of you have said you didn't. If the movie is sad, romantic, bittersweet...you name it...I am crying! Especially Beaches, Steel Magnolias, The Notebook and Titanic. For those movies we are not talking crying, we are talking I am sobbing! Haha!

Titanic- I hated the Jack and Rose characters, they were so "cardboard" and one-dimensional!

so, no, I didn't cry at the end!

All of them I don't cry from watching movies.

I cried at Titanic because I knew that many people really did die and the scenes with the children were so sad.

I did not cry at Beaches though. I thought that it was a good movie and sad but it just didn't make me cry for some reason.

I try to cry quietly, but I usually end up noisily sniffing and shaking instead. DH just does one of these  and says, "You're crying AGAIN? It's just a movie!!" I just can't help it. I even cry listening to Disney music- "When She Loved Me" from Toy Story 2 just tears me up every time I hear it. Even DD7 teases me about that one.

Saw Terms of Endearment in theater. Theater-kids posted at exit doors with boxes (big boxes) of Kleenex. Lots of people sniffling and grabbing Kleenex.

I am a crier. :sad2: :sad2: I cry during commercials, TV shows and Movies. I just can't help it.
When DH and I had just started dating, 15 or so years ago, I remember watching a United Way commercial. It was about a little old woman, walking home with her groceries and a young man tries to help her. Her bag rips and cat food cans fall to the ground. He looks at her and says "Mrs Miller, I didn't know you had a cat" and she shuffles in to her house without saying a word. Then the next shot is of her alone, preparing to eat the cat food because she is so poor.   I started bawling like a baby. It still gets me choked up, thinking about it.

Titanic
The Notebook
Bridges of Madison County

I like all three movies but didnt cry

ET,,I was hoping that little bugger would die
OMG, Jenny, I thought I was the only one! I've never known anyone else who felt like I did about ET.

I actually opened this thread with ET in mind. I really didn't want to go see this film and back then ('82) my girlfriend who had already seen it about 2 or 3 times said, "You HAVE to see it!" Just about everyone in the theater was sobbing and I was sitting there laughing. The thought of them trying to recussitate this alien using all available human technologies just cracked me up.

Beaches- I just didn't cry! Oh well- put Stepmom on or Steel Magnolias and I will!

Stepmom does me in every time I watch it!

I did not cry at all in Titanic. I found it sad that all those people died in the freezing water, but I didn't find the whole Rose saying "I'll never let go" over and over again all that sad.

The Notebook. I watched it, waiting for the tearjerking moment, and it just didn't happen. And I cry at everything!

Me, too. I liked the movie - but something BIG was missing from it.
