What "talent" do you wish you had?

I've always wished I could sing, but I can't and freely admit it.

What talent or natural ability do you wish you had? (Singing, dancing, cooking, etc?)

Playing the piano. My mom always wanted me to take lessons when I was young, but I never wanted to. She'd always said I'd regret it, and she was right!

I wish I could sing also, I have a terrible voice and know it (unlike some people).

My DH and both of my DS's have musical talent... but I have none

I think sing too, but I have always wanted to paint or draw also. I think I would probably chose paint or draw over singing because I could do it longer. Artists don't get too old....

Sing (If I would choose a talent, this would be it)

Be a marathon runner

My father was a piano and voice teacher for 60+ years. He gave up on me when I was about 14. He recognized that I did have the talent and that I was more inclined to take the piano apart than play it. (I became an engineer and he was proud of that.)

I took piano as a child and can read music to a certain extent. I think I can sing OK but would absolutely never in solo in public.

I didn't realize driving manual transimission was a talent. I guess I have one!!!

btw-- I have never been able to do a cartwheel either and I took dance for 10 years.

I really wish I could sing. I try, but my voice sounds like creaking from the bottom of a deep cave.

Also, I am the only person in my entire extended family that cannot curl their tounge. This really bothers me.

Another vote for "sing" here! I'm probably the only Italian that can't carry a note. It's pretty bad when my kids tell me "oh Mom, stop singing!" But I sing anyway. I always tell them that singing is good for your soul, so you should sing whether you sound good or not. (Of course, I never sing in public.....I even just lip-sinc in church too!)
