I stress out about situations that I have no control over! Illnesses, new jobs, moving..completely stress me out. I cant stand waiting for anything and not being able to do anything except wait! Completely Stresses me out!

DH stresses out ofver messy kids and temper tantrums. Where as I could care less if the kids or DH has one. They will get over it..no biggie.

What stresses you out?

Well, after this weekend, I would definitely say MOVING!! We weren't supposed to move until the end of the month but due to a problem at DH's work, he was unable to take the day off we had originally planned on. He called me at work last Tuesday and said, "hey, the movers had a cancellation this Saturday so I told them that would be fine." WHAT?!

I was a military wife for a long time so I have a lot of experience with moving but I like to take my time and be organized. This move consisted of me just dumping everything into boxes. No cleaning, no sorting. The townhouse we moved out of looks like a tornado hit it--thank goodness our lease isn't up until the end of July so I can back and clean it correctly.

I took Friday off to finish packing and was no where near done when DH got home. I was fussing at my daughter, fussing at DH and once I got everybody all wound up--I just burst into tears. Huge, gut wrenching sobs. They were both appalled--it usually takes so much to faze me. I'm organized, efficient--a planner. But if I get into a situation where I haven't organized and planned, it freaks me out! I got a lot of hugs and a lot of help after my little nervous breakdown!

Thank goodness, we're moved in--I've got the kitchen and bathroom sorted and unpacked my clothes so I could find everything I needed for work today. I know it'll all be fine and I'll be so happy to be in the new house!

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Trying to make sure we have enough to pay for our wedding in October, while trying to pay of old debt so we can rebuild our credit and be able to buy a house this century.

Funny how these things don't matter when your younger but suddenly start staring you in the face.......

Leaving for vacation.
Putting my dog in the kennel.
Timed tests. I only stress over timed tests.
If my car breaks down somewhere outside of my driveway. :crazy2:

The people I work with tend to drive me crazy.

Financial worries stress me out as well.

Financial stress and work stress. I am not usually stressed at work but sometimes my desk overflows and I really stress.

This is so true. In college at age 18 I ruined my credit for life. I did it again at age 21. Because I was young, had never learned about money and thought I'd never get old.

At 23 I was married and divorced. My ex was only with me a few weeks but in that time charged thousands to a shared credit card. I wound up with the bills. I was also stuck with a landlord who said if I didn't continue to pay the 1400 a month rent after EXH left, he's take me to court. So I struggled.

I racked up about 9K worth of debt. I was using my entire salary to pay rent so I had to charge everything else. I'm still paying it off and little improvement has been made. (still have 7K at age 27 and nothing to show for it)

I've pretty much given up on being able to buy a house. If I do it won't be possible for another 10 years or so, and by then, I don't know that I'd want the responsibility of owning a home. (I'm single and I am choosing to remain so for life).

I REALLY wish parents and schools could do more to protect college kids from credit cards. There is so much I wish I'd known then, that no one ever taught me and at 18 I did not have the initiative to go out and learn it on my own. I see credit card companies now pushing cards on college kids and it makes me mad.

money also.
trying to find the cash to fix a leaking swimming pool and replace DH's aging vehicle.

DH isn't much help. He just figures I'll come up with the solution.

Being overworked
not having alone time
thinking about the projects that need to be done on the house

Doing everyone's wash-6 people in my house and I did everyone's wash for too long!!!

-leaving my dogs to go on vacation
-money
-when I worked, everything about my job
-now that I'm not working, the fact that I'm not stresses me out too
-illnesses...things out of my control.

What stresses you out?

Running late....makes me crazy!

Hassles - as in things not being normal, breaking down... like our last camping trip...we were gone a week...the first day the refrigerator quits working...gives off a huge ammonia smell as a "warning" that it's not working any longer...found out it will cost $1300 to replace it...no $$ for THAT right now so we used a cooler all week....just a "hassle" and I don't deal well with stuff like that...:(

I urge you to go out and spend some of that money you are stressing about on one of Suze Orman's financial books or check out her website. She has the most refreshing way of looking at financial matters. Beginning with insisting that one's debt is not a definition of who they are. We all make bad choices at times, that does not mean we are bad people. It is almost as though there is a secret shame about the debt one carries.

Having the right attitude about money is the secret. And once you change the way you look at money it is amazingly easy to get a handle on things you thought were almost insurmountable.

I am making it sould like she is one of these people you see in those dumb infomercials. But she really is nothing like that. You can check out her show on MSNBC on Saturday nights. I believe she won an emmy this year.

Changes, in general. And feeling like life is passing too quickly!
