There is a hat shop on Main St USA (sorry I forget the name of the shop). They machine stitch the name while you wait. Does anyone remember the name?

Did you mean a store not at WDW or DL? I don't think you can get them anywhere but in the MK. The store is called Le Chapeau. If you enter MK through the right tunnel under the train, it is straight in front of you, between DVC shop and the Confectionery.

i can't remember the name either.at wdw it's the first store on the right side as you are walking toward the castle and yes it's a hat store so look for a hat store.its very obvious.

Paisleyjane is correct. We were just at Le Chapeau a few weeks ago. It is accross from the Confectionery shop(which is also worth stopping at). They had all kinds of Mickey hats, even saw a really cool gold hat with Mickey ears, and they will monogram a name for no extra charge.

You can also buy the hats at the Days of Christmas store in DTD. The hats you buy there are embriodered with your name on it, you can have your choice of thread color and fonts. It's more money to have them done there, but IMO, it looks so much nicer. We always have them done there and people always ask us where we got them.. Le Chapeau will put the name on, but is more of just an open stitch.

We got ours at the big toy store in Toon Town at the MK...it's the same building where you see the characters in the three rooms. Very un-crowded.

There are 3 locations in MK. They are: Le Chapeau on Main Street, Sir Mickey's in Fantasyland, and County Bounty in Toontown. All sew the names and the sewing is free!

There is also a store in MGM that does this. I can't remember the name of it but I believe it was on the right hand side of the street before you get to the Brown Derby. They had different fonts you could choose from and also different colors of thread.

I believe at MGM you have to pay for the sewing though.

That would make sense. I didn't get to stop to check but I made a mental note to go back and never did! It might be worth the extra bucks for the choices you get though.

No, there is no place in Epcot to have names put on the hat. You can buy the hat there and save the receipt and have it done in MK for free. To have it done at Days of Christmas at DTD or at MGM's Celebrity 5 & 10, it is an extra $7.

Thanks. We won't be going to MK this trip so I guess we'll have to pay the extra $. DS wants gold ears. I hope we can get them at DTD.

I think names like mom, dad, grandma, aunt, ect are allowed. So that should be fine.
