What store do you like purchasing your kids clothes from?

If I can get a good deal, GAP.

Otherwise Old Navy, Target, and Dillards. I really don't have one store--b/c i pick each store for different portions of the wardrobe.

If money weren't an issue--I would probably purchsae everything at Gap.

Lisa, I don't know what sizes your kids are, but I just got a bunch of stuff at Baby Gap at the Avenue shops sooooo cheaply last week. I think that they go up through the toddler sizes there at least.

We don't have kids yet, but when we do my favorite "store" will no-doubt be Ebay or the consignment store. The labels that I tend to favor when buying for gifts are Gap, Polo, Lands End, and LL Bean. Gymboree looks like nice stuff in the mall store, but I have not seen a lot of it in decent shape in the consignment store to be honest. Is it just me, or does that label seem to fuzz/pill up quite a bit?

My boys-Anywhere I can get a good deal. They really don't care yet what they wear.Kohl's,Gap clearance,Land's End jeans do seem to not tear up as quickly.
My DD6-Limited Too.Unfortunately this is the best place to find things that fit her. They have skorts and jeans with elastic. She can't wear 8 regular and 8 plus is WAY to big. :confused3
DD1-Well there is not much left after we have been to Limited Too.I am able to buy alot at places like T.J.Maxx and Ross.
With four buying clothes is a never ending process.

I shop Children's Place for DS, and for both the kids I do a lot of Sears (I like there clothes, and I work there part time, so I get a nice discount).

I had a hard time shopping for school clothes for dd5 this year. I used to buy almost everything at Kids R Us and it closed. So, this year I bought alot of her clothes at the Childrens Place and JCPenney.

DD14 shops at PacSun, American Eagle and Hollister. She wanted jeans from Abercrombie - HA! I'm not paying $108 for a pair of jeans that she will destroy within 3 months.

Abercrombie..............they make very well made clothes. NOTE: I have a boy. Some of the girl's things are too racey for my taste.

Can't beat the quality of their stuff nor the durabilty.

Gap, Old Navy, Lands End, LL Bean, Children's Place. I also buy a lot of clothes online, I just cleaned up at heathtex.com for my youngest -- he's set for next summer -- their clothes are so well made, and at sale prices, I couldn't resist.

DD 12 likes Abercrombie , Aeropostal , & Hollister then for shoes she only wants Nike shox ( I don't know how many pairs she thinks she needs .. Because she always wants a new pair different color.. LOL )

I can't believe that no one with girls has mentioned JUSTICE!!!!! Justice is to Limited Too as Old Navy is to Gap. It's owned by the same company as Limited Too, very very cute store, very very very cute clothes, much lower prices than Limited Too. Look for one - you'll love it!

I buy one DD's jeans at Old Navy and Gap because she is VERY slim and they have adjustable waist pants in slim sizes.

I buy the girls' t-shirts at Aeropostale (sp?). They are "in" and cute and most importantly, they are cut long. The school dress code is that your belly can't show if you raise your hands above your head. Almost all shirts are cut too short, but Aeropostale's are cut long.

I would say 95% of DS's wardrobe is Gymboree. I am a Gymbo-aholic :O) I agree with Mo's Mom - resale on ebay is fantastic!! I paid under $100 for a bunch of clothes last year - just sold them on ebay for about $175. I LOVE Gymbuck earning time (love redemption more!). And there are always tons of sales! I get DS's wardrobe for so cheap! And the quality is fantastic. If they can survive a daycare for 8 hours/day...they are worth their weight in gold.

I occasionally find cute clothes at Kohl's or Penneys. I try and find stuff at Children's Place, but nothing ever really catches my eye. And I think Target/WalMart are cheap and poorly made. Shrinkage and fading after 1 wash.

I love Janie and Jack but only look at the clearance things. And I also agree about Naartjie. I think some of their stuff is cute - but a lot leaves me scratching my head :O)

Oh - Marshall Fields (will always be Dayton's to me) has cute stuff...

I agree, we discovered Justice last year on a shopping trip to the Mall of America. Unforturnately it's 1 1/2 hours away from me, but it's a definate must stop when we head there.

I mostly like Gap and Old Navy because of the adjustable waist in most of the pants and jeans. My DD is very picky about fit and this helps immensly!

That's good to know. I haven't seen a Justice anywhere so next time we are at MOA I will have to look there. Which direction are you from MOA, we are in the SW part of the state.

GAP for all 3 kids- love it esp for the boys. Although sometimes their baby girl stuff is to die for.

For Molly- Gymboree!!! I've become a serious fan the last few months. I've been drooling at the latest layette line that came out the other day.

I also like Lands End and recently went into a Janie and Jack store while I was on vacation....oh dear.....extremely cute. And they're putting one into a local mall soon. Yikes.....

We get DDs clothes from everywhere but our faves are: Gymboree (esp. for shoes), Nordstroms (for dresses) and we LOVE getting her jeans from the Childrens Place!! i also get a bunch of stuff for the future from the Nordstom Rack like t-shirts and shorts and tanks just random clothes!! i can never seem to find anything at baby gap.

I really like Ebay for Hannah Anderssons, I've bought dresses with matching tights that still have the tags on them for at least 70% less than I'd pay on the website.

The hardest part is to stop the girls (5 & 6) from proudly telling everyone they know that Mommy found this dress on Ebay! Since my kids beat their clothes to death, I don't re-sell them afterwards, but it's a great deal if you're careful not to fall in love with an outfit and get involved in a bidding war. I've had to let some gorgeous outfits go...

I also like Marshalls and TjMaxx (not just for the kids!) because I hate it when I see ten little girls wearing the same The Children's Place skirt my kid has on. Marshall's tends to have more eclectic stuff.

Not that I'm knocking TCP, I just bought a ton of 2.99 t'shirts for the girls there. Shirts as bibs, that's their motto.

Shoes, almost exclusively from Target. Cheap, comfy, cute, what more could you ask for? I can't figure out why anyone would pay 50 bucks for shoes the kid will grow out of in 6 months.

I tell the girls that "investment" shoe shopping (hello, DSW!) is for when their feet stop growing.

Oh yeah, I just gotta add, how much do you all LOVE the new internal adjustable waistbands that everyone's doing now?

Oh, my goodness, my skinny minnie 5 year old can finally wear pants!

Love it, love it, love it!!!!

Me too! My dd5 is very small. She can fit into some slims, but the slims usually make her look even skinnier. Most regular size 6's are too big in the waist. I bought pants and jeans from The Children's Place because they have those adjustable waists.

Ohhh that sounds great-I've never even heard of them!

This year I got my son a bunch of stuff at Kohls', and have been searching and searching for DD.
Children's Place-blech! I shopped there so much when she was a baby and toddler, but I can't stand 90% of the stuff for the older girls. Still some cute stuff for DS there.

Went to Gymboree-nothing I liked except a pink skirt, but didn't like the shirt that went with it).
Gap-nothing except a belt,
ON, I liked a pair of pink pants, DD didn't seem enthused, and I know from experience that that means it sits in her drawer never worn.
Macy's-nothing
Target-nothing
Sears-nothing
Limited Too-a dress for the first day of school.
Went to JCPenney today and got her the cutest jeans with a pink scarf belt and hearts all over the cuffs. Also got her 3 shirts and DS 3 shirts.
I am hitting the OshKosh outlet in Orlando when we go on vacation. I always find stuff for DS there and usually a couple of things for DD.

It's hard-when DD was a baby/toddler I found more cute clothes than I could possibly ever buy!
