What state do you live in?

Actually this is a 4 part question. I'm just really curious to see the answers.

1. What state do you live in now? Illinois

2. Do you like where you live, or did you just sorta get stuck there because of a job or family? would like to move, hate the snow and cold weather

3. What state could you NEVER live in? not sure

4. If given the chance to move, would you and where to? Orlando Florida

My answers are:
1. Michigan

2. We are here solely to be close to family and the winters are really a pain in the you-know-what!

3. Florida, because, although I can handle heat, I lived in Southern CA after all, I can't handle the humidity. Those two together put me in a foul mood. Plus there's the whole hurricane thing.

4. I would move in a heart beat back to CA but the Central part along the coast, like Carmel or Monterey. So pretty there, but so expensive. Maybe someday.

Answered mine is the quotes so I could remember the questions.

I don't really care for it here but I've lived here all my life.

I don't think I could ever live in California

If given the chance to move, heck yes I would! If I had a choice, I'd love to live in one of the Carolina's or Tennessee

2. Do you like where you live, or did you just sorta get stuck there because of a job or family? LOVE IT!!! Of course, I've lived in another area of the state and hated it. It's specifically this area I love.

3. What state could you NEVER live in? Let's start with New Jersey. Born and raised there...would NEVER go back!

4. If given the chance to move, would you and where to? You couldn't budge me at this point. Just came here 1.5 years ago after being in Florida 15 years. I don't miss that place in the least. It was time for a change.

2. Do you like where you live, or did you just sorta get stuck there because of a job or family? Love it. I grew up 20min away in MA and this area has always felt like home to me. plus there's so much to do and see within just a few hours drive

3. What state could you NEVER live in? I won't move back to Florida full time and I wouldn't live in the deep South - I'm too much of a Yankee to fit in.
4. If given the chance to move, would you and where to? I'd like to stay within an hour of two of this area. maybe the Berkshires or Coastal Rhode Island. If I were to make a big move it would be to England, Stockholm, Switzerland, or New Zealand.

I love living here! I planned on this move for about 15 years and in November of 2004 my wish came true.

New York. I'm a Red Sox fan.

About 15 miles closer to Disney World... say the Davenport area.

I want to move to Florida when I retire, at least for the winters...

We have the occasional tornado down here too. I hadn't been here 2 months when I saw this out my back window last January.

Luckily it disappeared after about 30 seconds.

I am born and raised in western Massachusetts. I love the area and have no future plans to ever leave.

3. What state could you NEVER live in?
Any place where it's warm and humid for most of the year.

4. If given the chance to move, would you and where to?
If I were to ever leave my hometown it would be to live beside the ocean on the coast of Maine.

2. I moved out here to go to college 6 years ago from Indiana and I love it!

3. Alaska I couldn't handle the cold. I think moving to the west coast made my blood thin out too much.

4. I don't see myself leaving Arizona but if I HAD to move it would be either California or Hawaii. Someplace equally as great!

Texas

I don't necessarily like it here, but I'm stuck until my youngest daughter graduates from high school.

Any state with a desert atmosphere. I like green too much.

Back to Florida. I used to live in Destin and I'd move back there in a heartbeat. Wonderful town! Hopefully I'll die a Floridian!

DH job and my family has kept us here this long. It's not bad though, close enough to drive to wdw, but far enough for it to be a vacation.

South Carolina, been there, done that, hated it.

4. If given the chance to move, would you and where to?

We'd like to go overseas for a couple of years, Germany, England, etc.

I like it here. I still live at home with my parents and so does DBF. (We still have college loans to pay off) And my job is here. I live in a busy community and only a 30 min train ride away from NYC.

3. What state could you NEVER live in?

Anyplace that is rural and not near the shore.

4. If given the chance to move, would you and where to?

No where but New York. It is very expensive but I would love to stay on Long Island. Everything I need is here. My family is here. I couldn't live anywhere else.

I really like where I live! I have only lived here and CA and I would much rather live here.
3. What state could you NEVER live in? I'm a west coast gal through and through....no offense to anyone on these boards, but I would have an esp difficult time with any state not on a coast and I wouldn't want to live in the NE either (even if I lived near the coast!).

4. If given the chance to move, would you and where to?I really don't want to move anywhere. I wish I could have free airfare and money to visit Disney anytime I wanted though! (Either coast- DL or WDW- not picky!)

I actually like where we live. It's a fairly small town (pop 17,000) and everybody knows everybody.

Any state but here!
4. If given the chance to move, would you and where to?
I would have to say Missouri. A few years ago, DH and I drove to Michigan to visit his grandparents. Part of our trip took us through the mountains of Missouri, which I TOTALLy fell in love with. If I had to live anywhere, it would be there. If I couldn't live in Texas, that is.

we moved here from Hawaii when I was a kid, I'm a SoCal gal

Anywhere with long, cold winters and Texas (I'm too liberal )

4. If given the chance to move, would you and where to?

not sure I could ever leave California, I'm only an hour from Disneyland! I would love to try out Europe sometime though
