What standby queues are a must

We're there next week so EP will be very helpful, but I know some rides' EP lines bypass some good parts of the standby line. What are your must-see standy queues?

Forbidden Journey and Gringotts would be the only two I would find a moderate wait in Standby to be worthwhile.

Kong has more to see in the standby queue than EP. They used to use actors in the standby queue for one part, though I'm not sure if they're doing that in the current environment. I don't think the queue, even with the actors, is a must see by any means but would be worth it if its 20 mins or less IMO.

Gringotts for sure -- the Express line bypasses a lot of the thematic elements and the entire preshow; granted the preshow is not running right now.
You still go through most of the queue/rooms for Forbidden Journey via the Express line.
Mummy would be worth walking through the main queue once.

Gringott's and Forbidden Journey are the main ones that are a must see.
Mummy has a lot that plays into the story of the ride and has a lot of cool rooms with some interactive elements too but not necessary if it's a long wait.
Kong overall isn't a must see but if the wait is short I'd say it's worth it. The queue looks cool and there is a room with a very good animatronic with some great audio and lighting effects in it, this was probably one of the most memorable elements of the ride to me. The chanting and sounds booming around the room and building up were really cool. There is a second cool but much smaller animatronic in the queue as well. I haven't used the EP line but I believe these are all bypassed by that queue.

Thanks all, these all sound familiar as ones to try the standby line. It's a short list so hoping to find decent wait times for all.

Normally the Gringotts express queue is parallel to the standby and you don’t miss anything but the extended queue outside if that is open. Right now preshows aren’t running.

So the answer currently is different than in normal times. A lot of express queues have been rerouted to dump you very near the boarding point and skip most of the normal express queue. Very few preshows are running- only some attached to shows are, so that is not currently a factor. I don’t remember which queues have been rerouted. If you are a big fan of the attraction/IP, then standby may be worth if if the wait is short.

MIB always skips the preshow (not running), break room, and some cool stuff on the walls. Last I was there, Forbidden Journey skipped everything but the last room since the express queue is adjacent to the standby which makes distancing impossible. I think Gringotts is doing the same thing. Transformers queue sets up the ride- I’d always used express or single rider til last year and was surprised at how much info I had missed out on. Spiderman is two completely different experiences- if you’re a big fan you’ll want to do both.

During normal times, unless there was a long line, you'd also skip the greenhouse part of the queue. The last time I rode this ride I almost did a walk on via single rider line.

I can't wait for stuff to get back to normal. I really like preshows.

Another one worth checking out is the video for the Simpsons ride. If you've ridden the Back to the Future ride, then you'll see some stuff that will make you laugh. The ride is available on the bluray set as an extra.

I enjoy the Mummy queue. It has artifacts from the movie, and it is just really interesting. Of course Gringotts and Forbidden Journey are a must if you are a HP fan. Both of those rides make me very sick, but, the team members are always willing to let you walk through the queue, and tell you where to exit before you get on the ride.
