I'm thinking that might mean MK is not recommended due to a special event (MVMCP, possibly) because I can't think of any special late November event at Epcot. Normally "special events" cause TP to NOT recommend a park, not TO recommend it, so I'm thinking it's not written right or you are reading the wrong line or something.

And the hours you posted are the normal hours, not shortened.

But just my guess.

I saw that just now and I'm so confused. Did we miss something? I'm hoping to go to Epcot that morning, so hopefully we'll find out something soon.

I seen that too. No description is given for any type of event on the main page. That is our last day there. Considering doing lunch there before we leave.

I saw that too and was wondering what Special Event might be happening at Epcot for TouringPlans to specifically make it a red, non recommended park for that day. I tried to Google that date and Epcot but found nothing. Anyone have any insight?

That was our epcot day, too. I could change it but really don't want to try to get adrs at this late notice. I wonder what it is? There are no MVMCPs for the week of thanksgiving so it can't be that.

Novemebr 22nd is the Tuesday before Thanksgiving- they have never offered the Christmas Party that weeek before (we have gone the last 3 years that weeks for my birthday(which is the 22nd).

There are some Post Conference NCTE events happening at Epcot on November 22nd. I found the information on this site http://www.ncte.org/cee/events down under CEE Colloquium. This is probably the special event they are speaking of.

Yup that looks like it fits. They are sending all of their people over there for the evening.

Yeah, there was another thread a week or so ago that people were getting worried that NCTE was taking place during their planed vacations to WDW. So when I saw the date, I figured it may be related to that a low and behold I saw that schedule. I personally wouldn't plan on avoiding Epcot due to that event as there is always some Conference or large group in town.
