For me, it was renting the game "Disney Golf" for Playstation 2 with my boyfriend. We had just been to the world in March, and in June we rented this game. The game is very fun for kids and adults, but the thing that's best about it is the music! The music sounds just like what they play in Epcot when you're walking around future world! :cool1: Since my last trip I had seen plenty of pictures of WDW, but it was hearing that Disney music that you hear when you first walk into Epcot and are so excited to see everything that did me in.

Once I heard that wonderful music, I was done for...and kept hinting about another Disney trip until my mom finally said, ok, we'll go!

What did it for you?

Last year I took my DGDs during Jersey Week, not realizing it was the Food and Wine Festival. I knew my DH would LOVE the festival, so I booked a trip this year just for the two of us - Oct 13-24 and we'll be spending a lot of time in Epcot!

The Magic My Way packages that came out at the first of the year. That coupled with the fact my two kids get out a whole week at Thanksgiving bumped us over the edge.

For me, the urge is always there...When we finish one trip, I am already thinking of the next.. My DH doesn't share the same enthusiasm (boy would we be in trouble if he did!!) so I have to limit the visits. The most recent urge came from the fact that we just moved (this summer) from Greenville, SC (10 hour trip) to Savannah, GA (5 hour trip)...That's a good enough reason, isn't it!! I will only have to take the boys out of school for one day, since we are going at a slow time, and we can go back soon if we miss out on some things. Can't wait for December!!!

Two kids in college with different calendars. I figured out that 2006, when we could afford to go, the calendars don't mesh at all. I called DH in August and said "it looks like the only time we could all go in the next 2 years is the week before Christmas this year". He said "go for it". And we are!

What sparked my latest urge to go to WDW?

Reality. Icky poo poo reality. Company layoffs, cut backs, fuel prices, corporate greed, hurricanes, tornados, should I go on? (I could...)I don't think so!!!

I want to go to the happiest place on earth and get sprinkled (and sprinkle some myself) by pixie dust! :cool1:

Uh, waking up this morning. I know smart%&* answer, but it is the truth. I always have the urge and am currently trying to figure out how I can get another trip in Jan/Feb.

For us it was the Halloween celebration in Disney World. I love Halloween, its my favorite holiday, so we are making our first all girls trip (3 moms 3 daughters) next week. Can't wait!

Weeelllll, there was this DIS meet last spring....and I found out there were some ladies who were going to WDW in late Nov and setting up this Jellyrolls meet. So, I whined on the way home that I really wanted to go too. (even though I was going in June for 9 days, and then went again in Aug for 5 days). DH said "So go! Have fun with the girls. See if you can get cheap airfare." I did, and I'm going!!!! First solo trip!

My last trip! And getting to be at MVMCP.
The Happiest Celebration on Earth helped convince my DFi with Soarin' and Lights, Motor, Action!

ROFLMBO!!! That was going to be my reason too! I think we have become Jerry Groupies!

The Jellyrolls meet, combined with a great Jet Blue sale, and a Mom who has always wanted to see the Christmas decorations....OH how could I say no?

MY IN-LAWS DH said we were going to a tropical island without the kids this year (like that might every happen, LOL) so my in-laws were going to take the kids to WDW without us. I COULD NOT LET THAT HAPPEN. I love my in-laws and I had my mother-in-law convince her "favorite" son that she would just love to have him join her, what a great time we'd all have......and it worked. Even my brother-in-law, his new wife and his step-daughter are coming too. My new neice/nephew will be with us to but won't get to see the park just yet (DSIL will be 6 months along on our trip.)

Waking up this morning to find I was not in WDW was enough to make me want to plan another trip.... Time to start saving.

I fought the urging of my wife until 6 years ago when I finally gave in and we took our first WDW vacation. We have been each year since and i have to admit I am as excited about it as my wife and two children.

My latest urge came just from thinking about it. Tickets in hand and reservation made. We will be going in January and I can't wait!!!!!

See ya tomorrow??!!!

We were going to wait and go next February when DS is almost 3, but the new Magic Your Way packages ended up being cheaper than I thought, so we booked for Halloween. (24 more days!!!!!!! :cool1:
I am even more excited that we decided to go now because of the 9/29 code that came out and saved us an additonal $375!!! Now DH says we can go next year and finally see WDW at Christmas!!!!!!!!!!! :Pinkbounc

Didn't take much, my girlfriend mentioned she'd like to go back to wdw - thats all i needed to jump on the bandwagon and plan a trip - leave in 20 days

With me, like so many of you, the urge is always there. A faint persistent urge that frequently flares up when I'm confronted with just a bit too much reality or discounts become available. When the rumor of discounts started appearing I started laying groundwork with my DH. I knew it was going to be a tough sell because we're going on a cruise ( non-Disney) in November. I had my facts and figures ready for any and all scenarios before the discounts were released. I did more math in one afternoon than I did in 25 years working in an ER. My DH is an engineer. After 28 years of wedded bliss,he sometimes does not react quite as quickly to the usual seductions but the man is a sucker for a spreadsheet. I did a spreadsheet. I managed to pry a "working capital" figure out of him and when the discounts came out I was able to present him with an array of options. My DD insists I did not dazzle him with brilliance so much as baffle him with BS. Personally, I think I just wore him down. Don't know. Don't care. I'm going to WDW and I'm one very happy camper. :Pinkbounc  :Pinkbounc
