Any type of attached housing. Apartment, duplex, or condo. I don't want to hear my neighbors shower, flush the toilet, talk, snore, sneeze etc....... Some how in my 67 years I have managed to live in a detached house for all but 11 months.

Bad/unsafe location or bad neighbors.

Mobile home just for the tornado factor. When I was little we loved briefly in a mobile home park next to an airport.

Also now that I’m older I hate to say a townhouse (or anything multi level.

Anywhere with roommates…ie dorms and or hostels.

A place with no glass in the windows. When my brother and his wife lived in Hawaii (recently, not decades ago) they only had screens. In addition to the security issues, there was no way to close things up and use air conditioning when allergies were bad.

Granted, I don't have whole house air conditioning now, but I have the ability to shut myself in one part of the house and turn on my air filters and a portable air conditioner. That's been a lifesaver during certain seasons or if the neighbors have a burn pile going!
