Let's hear your selections. If you've done multiple times, was it better with one particular song? Where can I find a current list? I saw one that had about 5 selections in each genre and some of the selections were so lame I could puke, but then again riding a major roller coaster with the Beastie Boys? niiiiice.

Also, are the song the ACTUAL song? Not some hacked up rendition by theme park singers.

Charlie Daniels band Devil went down to Georgia and M.A.R.S Pump up the volume are some of my favorites to listen on the ride. Also remember there are secret tracks for the song where you have to input a code instead of just picking the song from the list they give you.

The Doors - Break on Through (to the Other Side). Just as you begin the vertical ascent the instrumental intro starts - as "night divides the day" you start the journey - one would think this song is written for this coaster.

So when the list of songs to choose from comes up, is there a key pad or something where you just type in the code numbers to get the secret songs?? I just wanna make sure I know how to work it before I get on so I don't screw anything up. Can't wait to ride it!!! I think I'll be choosing Metallica...it'll be such a rush!!

:cheer2:

According to a utube video how to, you hold the rip ride rocket logo down for 10 seconds (it's a touch screen) then the key pad appears and you enter the number, after that a screen pops up (or at least it did on the video how to) that tells you, you cannot make a video while using that song.

There is a whole iPhone app on the secret codes. I think it started from people going on the ride and putting in a code that wasn't on the ride list and got something completely different. They then did this lost of times with lots of different codes and made a note of which codes played which songs. If you are feeling adventurous just type in any random code and see what you get!

I choose Kayne-Stronger. Love Kayne...It's not the full song but it's kayne rapping. I thought it went really well with the ride. Especially on the climb up where right before you drop down you hear " Harder better faster stronger...."

I used "Crocodile Rock" and my son chose Kermit the Frog's "The Rainbow Connection." Both are on the secret songs list.

So secret code songs cannot have the music video made at the end of the ride?

We are leaving for Disney / Universal in 1 week and we can't wait...
I had never heard of this ride...it sounds so cool...
What are some of the choices on the ride...not the secret ones, as we would like to make a video...
Thanks :cool1:

I told my kids that getting to listen to Kenny Chesney's Living in Fast Forward was probably the only thing that kept me calm on this ride! I worried about no shoulder harnes & going upside down

Thanks for posting the bonus songs. I think I'm going to choose U2's Vertigo. :dance3:

I really need my glasses on to read the small screen, so I sort of memorized where Evanescence & Limp Bizkit are. I have tried the secret codes but it didn't seem to work for me... could be because I couldn't see what I was doing too :rotfl:

I usually choose Rollin by Limp Bizkit. I would really like to have some Marilyn Manson and TOOL to choose from as well.
