What size shoes does your child wear?

We just had to buy shoes for DS AGAIN! A size four!?!?!? He is only six. I am not looking forward to the teen years!

My son has always had large feet. All those baby shoes people bought for him before he was born were too small. He grew out of kids shoes in the 2nd or 3rd grade. He is 17 now and has been wearing size 13 for three years. Thank goodness, I think his feet stopped growing (knock on wood) even though he's shot up another foot since his feet reach that size (He's 6'2" and still growing).

Thanks for giving me hope! lol DS has always had big feet too. In one of my last u/s the tech started laughing and said she had never seen such big feet on a baby!

Kids just have bigger feet these days. I think it is because mostly wear tennis shoes/flip flops/sandals and it allows their feet to spread and grow more. DS18 has "small" feet, size 10, DD15 wears a 9 1/2 and DS15 wears a 12.

My DS just turned 11, and he wears a 7 1/2 or 8. He obviously doesn't take after me, since I wear a 6!

We just had to go up a 1/2 size, so DD9 is up to 6 1/2 women's shoe now.

DS (8) is in a 4 1/2. DD (10) wears a 7 1/2 w womens.

My DS (who will be 9 in a week) wears size 7 mens/kids. My DD11 wears women's size 9 1/2 - 10. FYI, I wear a size 11.

My DS was 11 in April and wears 8.5 mens! I could not believe it! My DD is 22 and wears a ladies 7 and DD 17 wears a ladies 6. I myself wear a ladies 7. My DH is 6' 6 and wears an 11. My DS is growing every day, I think! He is as tall as myself and the girls! He claims he will grow taller then his Dad!

My 11 year old dd wears a 8 and my 13 year old dd wears a size 10. We won't be able to find shoes for her soon.

Neither of us are very tall. I'm 5'5" and DH is probably 5'8". Both of our mothers are quite short. My DM is 5'1' and DMIL is 4'10". My Dad is 6', but his brothers are pretty short. My paternal grandmother's people are tall though. I do confess, I have big feet too. Ladies size 10! eep!

My older son is 6 and is moving out of size 3's. My younger son is 3 and is moving into size 1's.

We go through shoes quickly in my house. Well...they do (DH too..)...I am still wearing (today) the same shoes I bought in 2000.

DH is 6'6 and wears a size 15. I wear a 9 - 9.5 depending on the shoe.

My boy will probably take after him. They are already super tall for their ages DS6 is 50+ inches and DS3 is 44 inches or so.

DS is the tallest child in his class (not his grade), but he is also one of the younger kids in his grade. lol He is already 49" tall.

I think my ds has really small feet. He's 7, almost 8 and still wears a 12.5/1. The 1's are still a bit big on him.

DS16 is a men's 14 (for 3 years). DD11 is a woman's size 9/9.5.

The worst part was when they were littler and they wanted the cute kids' character shoes (consistent with their age), only to find that they don't make them in their size.

Three sons with big feet here. 10 year old... size 10 shoes, 13 year old...size 12 shoes... 15 year old...size 15or16 shoes, depending on the shoe. I think his feet have stopped, thank goodness!
