What size shoes does your child wear?

DS16 is a men's 14 (for 3 years). DD11 is a woman's size 9/9.5.

The worst part was when they were littler and they wanted the cute kids' character shoes (consistent with their age), only to find that they don't make them in their size.

I hear that! He really wanted some shoes at the Disney Store the other day and I had to tell him none of them would fit him! :scared1:

My DS 12 wears a size 14 mens now. He's always been about a size ahead of his age. Now he's jumped 2 sizes. He's also about 6ft tall though :scared1:

DD (6) wears 10/11 depending on the shoe. I've noticed her friends wear size 1 shoes.

Three sons with big feet here. 10 year old... size 10 shoes, 13 year old...size 12 shoes... 15 year old...size 15or16 shoes, depending on the shoe. I think his feet have stopped, thank goodness!

I have a son that just turned 13 and wears a size 13. When I saw your 15 year old wears 15-16 that scares me. :scared1: Where do you find the shoes that big? He is 5'11 right now so I guess he hasn't stopped growning yet.

DD9 wears youth 2.
DD12 wears youth 4 to womens 6 (supposedly the same thing)

Their feet are relatively small. DD12 was still wearing youth 3 when she was 11. She actually wore out many pairs of shoes before outgrowing them. It feels like they make a big leap when they go from youth 3 to womens 6 but it's actually only one size.

They are becoming easier to find actually. He wears mostly New Balance sneakers... and I found size 15 dress shoes at PayLess. Wal-Mart has some big sizes too. Socks...they are a problem. Not only are his feet long, but wide too....so a regular sock does not work. DS15 is 6'3, and maybe has stopped growing.... but people tell me they don't typically stop at age 15, so he may grow a bit more. I hope not more than one more inch! His feet have stopped...I hope.

OMG, I thought my ds-12 foot would stop growing soon, I guess there is more time for his feet to grow.

He is about 5'3" and wears a size 11.5. I bet I am looking at 13s or close to it :scared1:

My dd-16 and 5'3" wears a size 9.

My dh is a size 11 and I range between 9-10.

Never thought of the sock problem.....but your right they usually don't that big.

DS9 wears a kids 4 1/2
DD14 wears a womens size 11:eek: (her basketball sneakers, heels, and most sneakers are an 11.- her Uggs are a 10)

I wear an 8 or 8 1/2 if they are narrow
DH wears a 14

DS13 wears a mens 11. He went up 4 shoe sizes in about a year. I'm already thinking his 'back to school' shoes will not last the school year.

DD7.5 is another small-footed but not short kid. She's a size 12 or 12.5 at the moment, and 52" tall.

Glad to read this (and I think the 1 other post!), cause I was beginning to think my kids were abnormal!!

My daughter is almost 7yo and she wears a 12.5-13 and she's 49". My son is 4yo and wears a 10 (41"). And the baby, well, she doesn't wear shoes exactly, but she's 10 months old and wears 0-6 month Robeez or I think about a 2 (the baby 2, obviously) in a "real" shoe.

Neither my husband nor I have large feet (he's a 9 and I'm a 7) and we're both around average heights (he's 5'9", I'm 5'4").

My 10-yr-old son is wearing a size 7 right now (for a few more weeks, anyway). His dad wears a 12, so I'm expecting his feet to not stop growing for awhile.

My daughter is 12 and is about a 5.5 or a 6.

I wear a 7.5.

My 6yo twin girls both wear a 12.5 kids

My 9yo girl wears a 3 kids

My kids must have small feet!

Dd is 5 yo and wears a 10.5 in kids/toddler shoes.

Ds is 2.5 yo and wears a size 6 in kids/toddler shoes.

Ironically, I have big feet! I wear a size 10 to size 11 in women's shoes. No idea how the kids have small feet. I guess that could always change in the future, lol!

My 2.5 y/o wears a 10 Toddler
8 y/o boy is a 4.5/5
10 y/o girl is an 8, but is about out of those so I'd say 8.5/9.

I wear a 10, Dh a 12. My dad was a 14. My poor kids don't stand a chance.

Ditto for DD. The first thing DH said when she was born was "look at those feet" :lmao:. She's 7 and wears a size 4 shoe already. She's ALWAYS been a head taller than all her classmates & friends, but she gets it honest. I'm 5'10" and wear a size 10/11 shoe, DH is 6'5" and wears a 13, same for DFIL and my brother. We are just a GIANT family :)
