What size is your bed?

We currentally have a queen but we are inhearting my grandparents cherry set. It comes with 2 twins. We hve looked at the frames to see if they make a king but I don't think they do. We may have to keep the queen or just sleep like Lucy and Ricky. Why did our grandparents sleep in seperate beds??? Wait maybe they were the smart ones.

Well, apparently, DH and I are kind of in the minority here--we have a full-sized bed and we love it. It's plenty big enough for the two of us. It's an antique iron bed that I used as a teenager--I love it and it looks great in our bedroom. DH did lengthen the frame to accommodate his height.

We're cozy sleepers and the puppy isn't allowed in the bed (plus it's too tall for her to get into it.) DD is 15 so while she does come to visit us from time to time, she doesn't sleep with us.

We have a full. I honestly dont think anything larger would be appropriate with the size of our bedroom, but we may be able to squeeze a queen in here if we had the money.

It can be a tight fit, as ds has sleep with us every night since he was born So we have two adults, ds, and my little preggo belly before long all in this little bed.

I find it very cozy. I cant wait to come to bed and read books each night.

That was us, totally. I can't belive I made it through 2 pregnancies in that bed.

I must say i enjoy our king, and the new plush matress (no flip too.) but we had no choice before with the size of our old bedroom. We made do.

From the crib, I went right into a full size bed. And had one until about 2 years ago when DH and I decided we just needed more room. (After 20 years of marriage, we both are *ahem* a little bigger than when we started out. The queen sized was huge when we first got it, but now that we are used to it, I can't imagine how we had the full sized one for so long.

We have a full, but we're both snugglers so it is just the right size for us. We also share the bed with 2 cats and sometimes a dog laying at the end of the bed.

King. He's very tall, and I'm moderately tall. We started out with Queen, but it was an old mattress and needed replacing, so we got a King, and we both sleep a lot better now.

What is a "no flip" bed? I understand the concept, no flipping (YAY), but is it a particular kind of bed/style?

I have a twin. Somehow, for the past couple of nights, I was able to squeeze me, Jake, and Sassy in that bed. Don't know how we did that. LOL.

King water bed for us. I am football lineman size and my wife doesn't like anyone touching her when she sleeps. We tried a normal double bed for a while (to have more room in our bedroom and to "grow up" into a regular bed), but after a few months of sore backs and sleepless nights we bought a new water bed. I know eventually we'll have to go to a regular bed, but not as long as we can both still get out of the waterbed.

For the first 5 years of Marriage, DH and I shared my Super SINGLE waterbed. One day, after I'd had the bed for 14 years total, it sprung a leak. So, we broke down and got a Queen. Both DH and I are snugglers, and we find the Queen big.

Dh had one of those when we dated. It was small but I loved the warm mattress and the cuddling. When we moved into a one bedroom apt we kept the full size bed and got rid of the water bed, but sometimes I miss it
