DH and I share a full-sized bed. People seem to be amazed by this. It's an antique bed that I've had since I was young and I love it too much to ever get a different bed.
We slept in a double bed for years and then finally went with a queen a couple of years ago. I don't think we need anything bigger. As long as the dog isn't trying to stretch out between us, rather than at our feet, we're really comfortable.
When we first got married 23 years ago, we started out in a double size bed to accomodate an antique suite. Several years later and several pounds heavier, we moved up to a queen size bed.
Now we are in a king size bed to accomodate us and the dog. If it wasn't for the dog stretching out we would still be comfortable in a queen.

Wow- I would put that antique bed in the guest room and buy a big one LOL- I can't even stand when my daughter wants me to sleep with her once in awhile in her full size bed, not enough space between us for me- I don't like anyone touching me when I sleep or anyone body heat near me when I am sleeping - I need my personal space!
King size here for a little over a year now and LOVIN it!! Well, we have a sleep number too. I love that he can move around and the bed doesn't move to wake me up.
