I have been checking all the airline websites every day for about 3 weeks now and getting pretty tired of the same HIGH rates!!

I've also looked at cheaptickets.com but would like to know of any other reputable sites to find airfare. I have heard when booking to go directly thru the airline, but will sites like cheaptickets still find you the lowest prices???

With the current prices it looks like I'm going to be paying $250/pp for our May trip. :sad2:

I use JetBlue & Song. Right now Song is the lowest. I booked our May trip out of Boston for $205/RT. It was much lower last year for the same time. I like to book directly on the airline sites that way if the fare does go down, I can rebook for the lower fare and a credit goes on my airline account. I got hugely discounted tickets last year that way. I ended up with a credit of $144 that I put towards my next purchase. :cool1:

I use travelocity to get an idea of where prices are right now. The problem with using any of those sites is that not all airlines are listed. Southwest is one that comes to mind. You can only book airfare through their site.

If you have certain airlines in mind, keep an eye on them, otherwise use travelocity.com, orbitz.com, expedia.com, cheaptickets.com or somthing like that to get an idea, and then, yes, book on that airlines web site to avoid the booking fee.

The best airfare out there is USA3000. The only problem is you arrive in St. Pete. This is 1 1/2 hours from Disney. I am originally from Cleveland and now live in Tampa. This is the only airline my family will use. We normally save anywhere from $100-$300 a person.

Dang, they look like they have good airfare...... why aren't more people talking about them here? This is only the second time I have seen the name USA3000 in 6 months.

Also, I didn't see arrivals at St. Pete, only Ft Lauderdale and Ft Myers..... did I miss something?

St. Petersburg / Clearwater is usually the last choice. You may not have scrolled down all the way.

I like www.bookingbuddy.com. You plug in your dates/#people and then click on many different sites to perform the same search....cheaptickets, mobissimo, quixo, sidestep, the airlines themselves, travelocity, expedia..etc... You get the picture.
