Hi everyone,

I'm trying to plan for our holiday next month and I am still really unsure as to what crowd calendar to use. I would be grateful for your opinions.

Thank you!! :goodvibespopcorn::

I really like Easy WDW. I don't know if any of the sites are truly accurate 100% of the time but he seems to have good reasons and explains it so well.

I agree with the above. I used to have a subscription to Touring Plans, but let it expire. I think Josh's crowd calendar is more accurate.

I recently looked at Josh's crowd calendar for October and from my past experiences, he's way off. So I'm going to have to go with not easywdw.

Quoting the TP website: "We at Touring Plans define a 'crowd' as the average posted wait time for the key attractions between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm," and "You can get a good sense of how the parks will feel to you based on our wait times pages. For example, a 70-minute average wait at Space Mountain is a '7' on our scale." Touring Plans also follows up and reports on their accuracy after each day.

On EasyWDW I could only find that it says: "A “5″ refers to average crowds. Numbers above 5 refer to a larger than average overall crowd level and numbers below 5 refer to lower than average overall crowds."

A "5" on Touring Plans is quantifiable, whereas a "5" on EasyWDW means "average crowds." (What if you have no idea what "average crowds" means? "Average" is kind of ambiguous.).

So - long story short: I like Touring Plans because I like that it data-driven. I am a big nerd and I like TP's many statistics. That being said, there's no harm in checking out EasyWDW's calendars too!

Touring Plans gives you data so you can make your own decision based on your own reasoning. Easy WDW gives you recommendations based on his interpretation of the data, history, and his own best practices. Since he does this more than I do, I trust Easy WDW to make a better decision than I could with the same data.

I use a combination of easyWDW and Dad's Guide to WDW. I find Dad's is more specific. Has more options than easyWDW

I look at both easy WDW and touring plans. To date they seem to be similar in predictions, but if they differ, I'd rely on easy WDW because of the explanations behind the numbers. // I still use touring plans though too for the touring plans and ride descriptions though, not for the crowd calendars per se. I also like it that touring plans keeps me up to date about times of park opening and closing, ride closures, parade schedules, etc. -- that yes I could get somewhere else, but it's all one stop shopping here.

If you are only looking for crowd calendar basic numbers, I'd go with easy WDW, as it's a freebie too.
