What shows & show/rides do you feel are a must see for kids to keep as memories? (Country Bear Jamboree, Hall of Presidents, Carousel of progress and any others that stand out in your mind)

BTW - I've taken the kids to Disney before but we've never taken time to see any shows other than the 3D shows, fireworks & a parade or two.

Definately the lion king show at animal kingdom  . It's fab and we always make a trip there. Not so keen on the other shows mentioned, but then i am 21 (next week!)

I would never want to miss ILLUMINATIONS in EPCOT (although it does depend on the kid: If they don't like fireworks or loud noise)

So in my opinion; if you only see one Disney show, see Illuminations...

But if you can go see more do go to FANTASMIC too...

The Flight of Wonder show at AK is really great. It features several birds exhibiting natural behaviors on stage and some flying over the audience.

Mickey's Philharmagic is a must see. Save this one for the mid-day heat in the summer.

We love Lion King show at AK and American Adventure at EPCOT. Also, Illuminations at EPCOT and Fantasmic at MGM.

Another vote for the Festival of the Lion King and we like Mickey's Philharmagic too.

You are going to get many different answers. I tried to think of ones I would really have felt bad not seeing ... and came up with:

Flights of Wonder - AK - very underated but really fun to watch. Low key, nice place to sit - easy to get out of if you HAVE to leave.

Festival of the Lion King - AK - I was enchanted. It was a bit long though.

Beauty and the Beast - MGM - OK, I LOVE BELLE!! And the warm-up show was wonderful.

Mickey's Philharmagic - MK - the best 3D one for me. Children your age may like Bugs Life better - a little more exciting ... It sounds like you might have seen the 3D shows before though.

Have a great time.

Lion King at AK. My second favorite was the Christmas version of the Country Bears, but only if you've already seen the original. If you've never seen it, and it's open, don't miss C of Progress. It's one of the few attractions left with a real touch of Walt and his optimism for the world.
Has anyone else noticed that we've stopped talking about the future as bright and shiny tomorrow? Our leaders are just not inspiring us to think that way any more. We could use a little more of Walt's visionary spirit.

I'd like to see the new show at AK when it opens. We aren't really big show people though. We usually skip Snooze of Presidents, the American show at Epcot, the WS movies in Epcot, Cinderellabration. The bird show at AK has cool birds, but I find the humor a bit tiresome. They should revise the jokes, IMHO.

Lion King was the first thing that came to mind for me - AWESOME!!

MK-Mickey's Philharmagic and Wishes

Epcot- llluminations,and the China movie

AK-Lion King

MGM- Beauty and the Beast, and Lights, Motors, Action

Lion King - AK

Flights of Wonder - Ak

Millionaire - if you're going before they close

The One Man's Dream show/exhibit is very good. it's sort of a show. The Beauty and the Beast show is overated. The Lion King show is very good.

We love the following shows:
Mickeys Phiharmagic
Beuty and the Beast
American Adventure
and
we are anxiously awaiting the new Nemo show which is taking the place of Tarzen in the AK. Enjoy

AK- Lion King
MGM- Lights, Motors, Action
Epcot-there's nothing really there that appeals to me.
MK-Phillarmagic,Wishes, CoP

Besides the 3D shows (I really like them all but if you do 1, Philharmagic is the one), I would do the 3 that you mentioned. They are 'I'll kick and scream if I don't see them and we're leaving' shows to me. I haven't personally seen it (it was rained out when I was there) but I have only heard great things about LMA! Stunt Show. Have a great time!

Fantasmic is definatly the night show to see. Followed by Wishes then Illuminations in my opinion.

ps ~ I agree with mousema-go to Millionaire if you go before the 19th. I really wanted to see it but now it's closing...:(

MGM- Has tons of great shows. Beauty and the Beast!! (incredible acting, voices, characterization), Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! (cool show-stay after to get picture and autograph with Indie), Sounds Dangerous (I love the effects), Voyage of the Little Mermaid (cool effects, good place to cool off), Muppet Vision, and Lights, Motors, Action--Fantasmic!!, of course

AK- Lion King!!, It's Tough to be a Bug, Flights of Wonder

MK- Carousel of Progress (informative, fun, love the song, air conditioning), Philharmagic!!! (the best 3D show), WISHES!!!!!!!!!

Epcot- Kristos (very talented), Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, Turtle Talk with Crush (fun), Dragon Legend Acrobats (amazing acts, kids-so extra special for kids to watch), American Adventure (makes you feel patriotic), Illuminations!

I love the shows at Disney World!
