Yes a 5 y.o. would definitely enjoy both. My DD loves them. She is just about 8 now but has been enjoying both for quite a few years.

Agreed with both shows mentioned. Mickey's Philharmagic is one of my favourite attractions to do at MK and Monsters Inc Laugh Floor always makes me laugh. I think a 5yo would enjoy both.

Last trip my two were 8 & 5 and they loved both and still talk about them. And actually liked the shows at 5 & 2 as well. They're just fun!

Thanks everyone for the answers. We've done Mickey's before but never Monster Inc Laugh Floor so I didn't know how it would appeal to my DD. Now I will put it on our to do list for our May trip.

Dream Along With Mickey is the Castle stage show and features Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy along with the Princesses and Princes. It's a cute show from what I have seen... the characters do blink, in case that bothers you.

Took a 6-year-old and a 4-year-old to Philharmagic and to Monsters Inc a couple of weeks ago and both loved both. 18 months earlier, I took both to Country Bears, and they both loved that too. This trip we also went to the Tiki Room which wasn't as big of a hit.

It might go without saying, but Celebrate the Magic is astounding and blew me away on my last trip (first time to see it)! It is now as important for me to see as MSEP and Wishes, plus it changes seasonally, so worth repeat views!

Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor is great, and also changes somewhat from show to show, so if you really like it, it might be worth checking out again as the performers and routines can be different.

Most people wont agree with me but I love the country bear jamboree it's been there forever and I do it every time I go. It's one of those classic attractions that I would hate if they got rid of.
