What should we use our wishes for?

With our package my fiance (then husband) and I will have 12 wishes to use for our trip this January. I'm debating what to use them for. Here's what I had originally planned:

Hoop Dee Doo Revue - 1 wish each
Spirit of Aloha Luau - 1 wish each
Keys to the Kingdom tour - 1 wish each
Hidden Treasures tour - 1 wish each
Cirque du Soleil - 2 wishes each

At first I was happy with my plan, but now I'm wondering about the Luau. It might be cold in January, and we don't want to sit outside freezing (him especially). What could we do instead of the luau with one wish each? I know we can't eat $34 worth of food at any restaurant, and I'm not interested in any more tours? Maybe spa services? But can you really get anything good for 1 wish there? And will a guy really enjoy the spa stuff?

Please help!!!

I think you could use the $34 each at a restaurant....and vote for you to try a nice dinner somewhere with it. Coral Reef in Epcot, California Grill, Artist Point.....

Perhaps you can plan a dinner at Wolfgang Puck's on the West Side the night you go to Cirque du Soleil. I used a wish for dinner at Wolfgang Pucks, and it was one of the best meals of my trip. I had a pepperoni pizza for my appetizer, filet mignon for my entree, and a dessert sampler for my dessert. If I had paid for this, it would have cost me about $60 with tip, so it was well worth using a wish for.

If you don't think you could eat all that food, perhaps you could plan two sit down dinners and split the food, only using one wish for each meal.

They will cancel the Luau if it gets too cold. DH and I were going to go last December using wishes, and we got a message on our answering machine the morning of the day before saying that it was cancelled due to the cold temperatures. So on the one hand you won't have to worry about freezing, on the other hand you'll have to find a last minute way to use your wishes.

I think it's very easy to spend $34 on a nice meal, especially if you go to a resort restaurant. Remember that a wish meal includes not only the food, but two beverages, tax, and tip so the $34 adds up pretty quickly. I would definitely use the extra wishes on nice sit down dinners.

This will be my first time using the silver package and wishes, too. I also made plans to dine at the Luau but did not realize that it was an open setting.

This will be my 3rd yr at Disney in December and the evenings can get pretty cool. Now knowing about the setting, I'm having second thoughts about dining at the Luau.

Thank you for bringing that to my attention
