What should we do

Should we book the ASmu suites which is about $400 more than the CSR moderate resort? My DH and I (with our DS, 4 and DD, 2) stayed at ASmu suites and loved it, never stayed at CSR. We have never stayed at any resorts other than value
It would be easier financially to stay at the CSR, but room space is always a plus. We are going for 3 nights. Any advise?

I would stay at CSR. If you are only going for 3 nights and will be savings $400, I say that is significant savings. And it won't be too long of a vacation to be in a smaller room.

I say try the moderate for your 3 day trip. With two children, how much time will you actually spend IN the room? The $400 could go towards your next Disney trip (Deposit for a bounce-back?) - pay for your meals for your current trip - buy a number of souvenirs to bring a little Disney home... and you will have been able to taste what a moderate has to offer. Just a suggestion but I think this is what I would do. Have a great time, whatever you decide!
