Sorry for being a royal pain but these things are driving me bonkers! LOL

As I've said before the 1st day we get there is our anniversary so we're looking for something a little "special" that night, however, the other 2 nights we're not too fussed. I like you're kind of plain basic food really like pasta, pizza, burger/chips, steak pie's, casserole's, scampi/haddock/cod is as far as I'll go fish wise etc. and the other half will eat basically anything. I've been trying to work out where we should go for our meal this night, we would prefer going for dinner a little later (say 8pm) and I guess the parks will be closing around that time so our best bet is either the Village or the hotels. From this I've kinda wittled this down to California Grill (although I think this may be TOO fancy for us), Manhattan in Hotel NY or the Yacht Club in Newport Bay. However, I can't find much information on the Manhattan since it changed to an Italian :( And Yacht Club I'm not too sure if it'll be just TOO fishy for us as we're not big fish eaters. So what do you guys think?! I know CG is highly rated but I just think there'd be nothing I'd eat there. If anyone's ate at all 3 then comparison's would be great.

Now the other dilemma.....finally persuaded the other half to let me explain the HB options to him. He has said he'd rather do Premium than anything else, however, I'm still not so sure. To be honest, I'm not interested in Standard because of the lack of choice so I'll rule that out right away. However, as I said we only really want one "special" meal and then we're not fussed about the other 2 nights. So am I better off just getting HB+ and then using them at face value to pay for our 1 "special" meal and then obviously cheaper options the next 2 nights or should we just go Premium right away just to cover that "special" meal if we can get our money's worth from that? I just don't wanna spend £108 on Premium each and then feel we haven't got our money's worth when I can get HB+ for nearly half the price (£63 each).

Also one last question, I know in restaurants with HB+ you can be given a set menu, is this the same with HB Premium or will Premium allow you to choose anything?

Help me please! It's driving me nuts! LOL Sorry it's so long as well!

Sorry I can't help as Hubby and Son are Planet Hollywood maniacs so we tend to go there every night now. I know, how boring, but it keeps them happy and then I can get my own way on most other things.

Have a lovely anniversary

we arent foodies either so tbh i would stick with the half board plus. i think the food at the california grill is way to fancy for my tastes so its not somewhere i would eat. did you have a look at the restaraunts reviews. if the food doesnt appeal to you then then i wouldnt bother. we had a lovely meal at the silver spur in the park and i think thats on the half board plus.

sorry i cant be of more help
