What Should McCain Do Now?

Let's all play political strategist for a minute. McCain is behind in the polls. His latest stategy of full-on attack mode doesn't appear to be working.

What would you advise him to do to turn it around?

He should quit playing footsie with Obama and actually talk about Obama's record. He's being far too soft.

Gallup had Obama at 52 and McCain at 41 when I checked it earlier today. Regardless, I'm just thinking stategy. Are the attacks going to be enough? Most pundits say no. What else can he do to turn it around?

What's his association with Ayers? (specifics)
What's his association with Odinga and the Orange Democratic movement?

He has got to seperate himself from Bush. Right now "more of the same McCain" is what is sticking in people's mind.

He really believed that people would be "Gung-Ho" for the bailout and in his mind he would be a "hero".

He has got to convince people that it was necessary in some way. That was not a smart move.

Newsflash...no one gives a rats behind about this. If he goes down that path it is a sure fire way of losing ground.

Dems will just come back with Repub support on the same things and they are there.

Yes your questions are at the top of everyone's minds especially since their homes are being foreclosed on, their retirement funds are draining to zero, their bank accounts are empty, they're living pay check to pay check, their families are hungry, their utilities are being shut off and they're basically destitute.

Yep your questions should definitely take the suffering minds off what they're really going thru.
