I love to eat and love to try new things, but I get full fast! So, in that train of thought I want to try the "best of the best" before I fill up. So we are doing a dinner at Boma and a breakfast at Crystal Palace. What do you recommend??
Alicia:love:

I'm doing both of those too - Boma for dinner and CP for breakfast!!

I heard that CP has this AWESOME puffed or stuffed French toast this is out of this world......

At Crystal Palace - breakfast lasagna, puffed French toast, and breakfast pizza.

At Boma - coconut-curry seafood stew, butternut squash soup, she-crab bisque, fufu, prime rib, and zebra domes.

Dinner at Boma was good and different because I don't like any seafood at all. The desserts there are amazing though, even though I was full I kept stuffing myself with desserts. yummy

You picked two great restaurant choices!!

Here are my favs:

Crystal Palace:
-Honey flavored yogurt and granola
-Vegetable frittata
-Breakfast pizza
-Pooh's breakfast lasagna
-Pooh waffles
-Grits

Boma:
-Chicken pepperpot soup
-Butternut squash soup
-Fufu!!
-Kid's chicken strips!
-Peanut butter rice
-EVERY dessert! (this place has the best dessert buffet I've ever had!)

*Word of warning: Be sure to arrive on an empty stomach-there are too many good things to try!! :thumbsup2

DO NOT miss the puffed french toast at CP!! MMMMM...makes me hungry already!popcorn::

Try all of the desserts at Boma -- especially, the bread pudding and the zebra domes.

It's been almost four years since we ate at Crystal Palace, but I still remember the absolutely delicious breakfast lasagna. Yummy!

I don't know what else was in it or what it was called, but Boma had some soup with apples in it and I think I ate like 10 bowls!!

I love Boma!!

Fufu is mashed sweet and white potatoes with a little seasoning.

They have some really amazing soups there - they rotate which ones are available, but they have the best mushroom soup I've ever tasted.

Watermelon rind salad - sounds weird, but it's very good. There are usually some other interesting salads, too.

Potatoes with Afritude (spicy potato wedges)

I love the Boma mustard sauce.

The hummus and flatbreads.

Oh, just eat some of everything.
