What should I know about Delta?

I haven't flown those two airlines to compare them, but I have flown Delta First Class on multiple trips. I really enjoy it. The seats are larger than coach or even Delta Comfort class. The service is excellent.

Meal service depends on the length of the trip, but snacks and beverages are always available to first class passengers. There is usually a bathroom dedicated just for their use which means you don't have to wait as long sometimes if you really need to use it.

As far as flight schedules changing, it happens. It also happens when I fly American or any other airline. If you register for a Delta frequent flyer number and download their app, you'll have a heads up on any potential changes to your flight.

I have only flown Delta internationally. The planes, the cabin crew, and the skycab service are all phenomenal. Of everyone I've flown they are near to the top.

I have never been impressed with the Delta ground crew. Nothing specific, they are just curt and cranky. I've never been able to escape any flight (including Delta) with my daughter without her mobility aid being lost or damaged. Even when gate-checked. Recently I have noted that most of my Delta flights have been codeshare with another airline (ie AirFrance, KLM etc.). I'll just use that crew on the ground. I realize that's not an option with domestic flights.

I usually fly JetBlue domestically, just because they have a monopoly on our tiny local airport. If I didn't I would probably go Delta.
