What Should I expect for October 22nd?

What do you expect the crowds to be like?

When should I line up for MTOTP?

Should I bring anything extra?

I would like to know this as well, this will be the first day of our getaway to DL and the girls (our teen daughters and their friends) are all going to MTOTP that evening while DH and I just relax and have some us time
I just don't think that we are going to have a for sure kind of answer for this question though, because you never know with DL, but based on what I have been reading all over the boards I am expecting crowds that way I will be pleasantly surprised if the crowds are low

Anyhow it will be interesting to hear what others may say in response the question from the OP.

That's our first day there too! I don't expect Wednesday to be packed, perhaps mildly crowded at the most. Last year at our October trip, Wednesday was actually pretty dead. Each day afterward gradually picked up, and by Fri afternoon it was definitely crowded. We're going to MToTP on Thurs, the 23rd. We've been the last two years on Thursdays and haven't shown up very early to the gate and gotten in just fine and done everything we wanted to do. We will probably aim to be there 15 min or so before the party starts to line up.

no I think you guys will be fine...the big crowds of course always hit on Fridays but in my past experiences, usually its families with little children who attend over the teens during a weekday...not that there isnt any but it just seems like the teens tend to go more on the fridays than weekdays...we will be going the next day after you...you guys will have fun...I dont anticipate it being sold out for you which is always a good sign


I usually line up about half an hour or so before they let you in, mainly because once you go through the turnstyles they have a rope block at all 3 area entrances so you pick which way you want to start first and go to the roped off are to wait till they let you go through so even if you arent right up front at the turnstyles you may be up front where it matters

some people bring extra bags but you know I have found the bags they give you to be more than enough candy for each person so if anything you might bring a bag so that if yours starts to break you can drop your candy into a bigger bag...i am not bringing another bag but to each their own
