What should I do?

Ok here is my problem. We arrive at MCO May 13 at 7:00 am and we are staying at POR. Well on that first day we are going to US. Should we go to POR first and check in or go on to US and check in later that evening? We are sending our luggage ahead by Magical Express and is supposed to be at our room when we get there.

Check in first thing, that way you don't have to worry about it later. Also, you'll have a better chance of getting the room requests you wanted. (if you did make any specific requests)

I would also check on how your luggage will be handled with Magical Express. I don't think they will take the luggage without you being on the bus.

Oh really. I didnt really consider that. Well there will be 6 of us going. Wonder if like one of us rode the shuttle if they would handle the luggage? Since we'll be going to the resort first anyway.

I don't think they will take the luggage if your not riding the Magical Express bus. I'm not sure how they are checking whose on the bus and whose not but maybe a few people in your party could ride the bus and the others , if getting a rental car can get the car and meet you at the resort.

You may have to wait until reports start coming in on the new service. I am sure Disney has thought of all the ways that people want their luggage to get to the resort but don't want to take the bus. You might want to look at some of the threads on the transportation board about this.
