What should I do?

Apparently my brother's gf has moved out of their house. I don't know what I should do. I haven't called him yet because I know he is going to be sleeping as he is working nights tonight. What should I do for him? I am feeling really sad ... he was at my parents' house tonight to let them know and he was quite upset apparently. He didn't want to stay for dinner as he knew my family was coming over. My daughters LOVE his gf so he didn't want to be there to have to answer all kinds of questions, etc. We all really liked her. We thought she was the one!

So what do you do when this happens? They've been together awhile. Apparently it was fairly sudden ... she let him know this week that she was going to move out on the weekend.

Should I make him some food? What do I do? I don't want to bug him with details ... he's a pretty quiet guy ... what do I do? I am just feeling so badly for him!

You pick up the phone, say you heard the news, and offer support and an ear if he needs it.

I am going to call him ... he is likely sleeping as he is on night shift tonight ... thought I'd wait until his day off tomorrow. Didn't know if I should just call or make him some food to eat or what? Maybe I'm overthinking it!

I think the best thing you can do is let him know you care about him and are there if he needs to talk.
