What Should I do?? National Emerald Club Question

Hi All,

I have a quandry.

I am a National EC Member and have used it quite a bit this year, due to a month long visit to WDW in June. So far I have rented 33 days in 2005.

We are adding another 4 days to that total with our next trip starting on Saturday.

So I will be at 37 days for the year. I cant see us ever hitting that number again in the forseeable future.

That means, I am 3 days from being promoted to the Executive Selection. We just dont have any more trips planned for this year and therefore most likely will not need a rental car.

At 40 days, I would move up to EX Sel. which is valid until the end of 2006. I would automatically be able to select a Full Size for the price of an intermediate. We will definitely rent cars again next year.

So what should I do. Would it be worth it to rent for 3 more days to move up to EX SEL or just let it go? I guess I could rent locally while my car is being maintenanced or for a short weekend trip before the end of the year.

Is EX Sel benefits worth it?

If you are that close I would do 3 cheap rentals.

the expiry date might be the end of february 2007

as far as being worth it, some people here say they have been able to select off the excutive aisle even though they were not executive selection members ( do not know what parameters surround the actual experiences though )
