My hair is thin, fine, but still has just enough natural curl left over from when I was younger. Plus, we just moved, and now Memphis humidity is added to the mix, and even after deep conditioning and blow-drying I walk around with frizzy, limp (yes, it can be both at once) hair. It sucks, because most Memphis nightlife is centered around the downtown/Beale St. area, and everything is outside, so while I look fabulous when I leave home, after two hours of sitting at Alfred's on the patio, my hair looks heinous...
So...I adapted, and here's my recipe for what I call "Crappy Combination Hair"
Biolage Energizing Shampoo, then Pantene Sheer Volume conditioner. The shampoo cleans without stripping, the conditioner moisturizes just enough, but isn't heavy. Then I use just a TINY bit (half of dime size) of Matrix Sleek Level 3 styling creme. Even after blow drying, my hair is silky, but bouncy and won't frizz for at least four or five hours. Long enough for me to get my groove on and make it home.. just like Cinderella.
