What series are you streaming?

I've actually gotten hooked on old fashioned TV. Our local IONplus station is running Murdoch Mysteries all weekend, so I'm soaking up all of them that I can. It's weird having to coincide laundry or bathroom breaks with commercials. Just today, I picked up the remote to back it up having missed some dialog, then realized I can't do that with old fashioned TV. LOL.

Watching Good Behavior right now......not my favorite, but I will watch it because I have nothing else right now.
Luckily my "regular" shows are starting to be on again, so I can go back to those

Loved the trilogy of books so much; didn't care for the show that much, but if you haven't read the books you might not be bothered.

I thought the first season was pretty good. I haven't read the books. I'm binge reading the Expanse series this year.

I have read many of Julia Quinn's books and for the time the chances of so much of the unmarried girls have sex before the wedding would be implausible. you could actually get divorced for adultery for that at the time. As for making it diverse for the sake of fairness there where about 20000 black people in London at the time in a population of over a million mostly servants and the queen was not black nor would she encourage George to marry Daphne a mere nobody nor would she be able to stop a special licence neither parts where in the book. It is all part of a piece lets change history to be fair in a time where if Daphne and Simon fell in love it would have been illegal in America to marry. The only thing they got slightly right was Mariana if she had not married the fate of the child would be to be abandoned in a foundling hospital.

If nits are being picked for accuracy, why would American laws even factor into the Regency time period in England?

I just found Dickinson on Apple TV. What a funny representation of Emily Dickinson's young life! I'm really enjoying it.

I really enjoyed “Bridgerton”!

After “Yellowstone” (which we loved), DH & I started “Justified.” The 1st seasons were really good, & we’re almost finished w/ the series... however, it’s lost our interest & we just can’t seem to finish it.

In the meantime, we just finished “For All Mankind” - it’s an alternate reality where Russia won the race to the moon. The Russians also get the 1st woman on the moon, & the US feels pressure to land a woman as well. So they start a “women in space” program. It’s an interesting dynamic mixed in w/ some actual events & people.

At first, I thought it was a little boring & very slow-moving, but it turned out to be really good. I never thought I’d get so emotionally invested in it, but, by the end, I was.

The 2nd season is supposed to stream next month, & it’s been renewed for a 3rd season.

EDITED TO ADD - Oh, &, as a family, we’re watching “The Middle” which we love! We watched it when it aired on network TV but missed episodes here & there. It is such an underrated show! The characters are all written so well, & there’s so much humor mixed w/ some truly touching & bittersweet moments.

DW and I enjoyed "All Creatures Great & Small" on PBS. We binged them (we pay the $5/mo and get the whole season at once for some shows). Really good and can't wait for Season 2.

We're watching as they're broadcast and really enjoying. Glad to hear there will be a second season. The scenery alone is something to see -- makes you want to go for a walk or a drive.

Last night they started Lady Scarlet and the Duke and we enjoyed it too.

Yes, I couldn't agree more:)
We love that series and can't wait for the next episode!
I have read all the books and they are fantastic. They are my favorite book set to read, and I have many sets of authors books in my library. (my library is my bedroom, spare bedroom, closet and shelves in the dining room, Haha) I could fill a real library up quickly

It's been fun getting some new ideas on this thread.

Rewatched and found some new ones -
Both of these were LOL to me but adult lang &/content
I'm Sorry - Netflix
Shrill -Hulu

Virgin River
Queen's Gambit-surprise favorite
Glow Up-make up artist competition
Blown Away -glass blowing competition
Old Survivor seasons I never watched

Rewatching on Hulu
Melrose Place
Ally McBeal

DH and I were waiting for Ozark season 3 but with all the stress in the world, I haven't felt like a heavy show.

Watching Good Behavior............so so
Just finished up Breakout Kings. We enjoyed it

Lots of our regular shows are coming back on, so we're starting to be busy with those.

It is not a family show!! I'm enjoying it, but DH and I only!!

We too are getting ideas of shows to watch from this thread. Ditto on "All Creatures Great & Small" and planning to start "Miss Scarlet and the Duke" also on PBS.
As a family we are going through all "The Amazing Race Seasons"
my favorite find from last year- "Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist" beautiful, funny and touching.

This series is available on HULU, so if you have it without ads, that might be easier.
