What room requests should I make?

In 53 days we will be heading to Aulani! We have booked a DVC 1 bedroom ocean view room. Is it possible to request a room that has an ocean view and a luau view? I am trying to find a map that has the locations of the different types of rooms like I have done with the WDW resorts and I haven't found one yet. I see people referring to building names but I don't see any names on the map on the Aulani website. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thank you!

In the Ewa Tower on the short wing there are some ocean view rooms that also face the Luau (on Halawai Lawn).

I have a Trip Report under the DVC TR. I have tons of photos and information.

I am not sure how to post it here too.

I’m confused about the hotel room category. When I called to book I was using Disney Visa discount and the CM told me the only room type available for the discount for my dates was a hotel room with an Island Garden View, I was good with that and booked it. But every map or room chart I see online only shows hotel rooms as standard rooms? Am I missing something? Are there hotel rooms with the Island Garden view? I really do not want a DVC studio room and will be disappointed if that is what got booked instead of a hotel room.

And lastly, we have someone in our party who is claustrophobic and would prefer to avoid elevators. What would be the best floor to request? Thank you!

You are probably looking at a DVC room location chart. DVC owners can book a limited number of standard view hotel rooms with points. If you're booking with cash, you can get a hotel room in any view category. You will get a normal hotel room unless you specifically booked a DVC studio.

The pools, restaurants, and most activities are on the first floor. The main lobby and a few shops are on the 3rd floor. I forget which floor has access to the parking deck, but it's one of the lowest ones.
