What room at CR

We leave in 4 days!!! for our first stay at the CR. We have a garden/lake wing room. I requested first floor, lake view. Is this good? Also requested North wing to be closer to the walkway. Have DD2, DD4, & DS8 going. I keep second guessing my requests. Also requested first floor cause I read there is a small patio can sit out on. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a good request! You should be able to see the water parade from your room. The only other request I can think to add is for a view of the fireworks. (We had a great view. We were in the 2nd floor, about 1/2 way down.) I'm not sure if it is possible with a lake view, but you could always ask!

We loved our stay in the North wing.

Instead of requesting North wing to be close to the walkway to MK, we actually request a room as close to the main building as possible. We were in the South Wing last month, about 6 rooms in, and we were much closer to the walkway than most rooms in the North wing. It was a 1-minute walk to the main building from our room. Just our preference!

I've only stayed in the north wing and liked it. Very quiet!

Just a note, CR has a viewing veranda on the third floor of the tower and you could watch the fireworks and water show from there as well. Just go to the third floor, past the shops (toward MK) and out the door at the end. There is seating there as well. So if you get to your room and find an obstructed view for any of the "shows" you can go there.
