What rides to hit first thing in the mornings?

I am stillllll trying to get some sort of schedule going for our upcoming trip in like 10 days! I am scheduling in shows/parades. My main question right now is what rides/attractions should we plan on hitting first thing in the mornings? We have 4 full days in the parks. This is our first trip and there will be me, dh and we have two kids 3 and 5. I have been reading for months and have randomly come across recommendations for what to hit first thing, but of course I can't remember any of it now!

We will NOT have MM's available, because we bought the discounted convention/gay days tix. We will definately plan on being there early to get in as soon as parks open. I have read in the past to hit Fantasyland on an MM morning and get that taken care of early, does that still apply for a non MM morning?

I'm trying to decide which things would be best to hit first thing in the mornings on our 4 days and then plan the rest of the day around where we are starting in that morning. Like, I think Nemo was suggested as a first ride of the day? Peter Pan?

Also one side note, we will be there on a wed, thurs, fri, sat. park hours are only 10am-8pm on wed and thurs.

Our last trip we didn't have any MM, so on non-MM days we hit all of fantasyland right at opening and had zero lines. Peter Pan was always our first. We had all of fantasyland done within an hour or so.

The rest of the day we collected fast passes, caught shows and a few rides at a nice leisurely pace, took a 3 hour break in the afternoon then came back and went on all of our fastpass rides. It worked out great for us and our three kids (ages 5, 3, and 1).

On your first day, try Fantasyland first. Great intro for your little ones; they are at the age when FL is where it's at! Here's the generally recommended order:

Peter Pan first (always first!:thumbsup2 ) (because it builds lines and stays busy all day)
Dumbo
Matterhorn
Teacups
Alice
Storybook Land Canal Boats
Casey Jr.
Toad
Carousel
Snow White
Pinocchio

Of course, adjust for what you think your kids can handle. DD5 declined to do Snow White because she'd watched the YouTube video of the ride, and just didn't care for that wicked witch. Some little ones wouldn't care for the Yeti on the Matterhorn, (or the bumpiness!) either.

FL will be good on Wednesday; if you did it on a MM the lines for Peter Pan, Dumbo etc. would already be long by the time you got in there.

On Thursday and Saturday, MM days, start touring on the left side of the park along with everybody else, on an even playing field.

Friday maybe you could designate to do the Nemo stampede, since it's not an MM, and again, you'll be on a level playing field with everybody else.

Just a couple of suggestions. Hope that helps! :)

Yesterday (Sunday 9/14), we did Nemo first with our Magic Morning entrance (8 AM) and managed to do almost everything in Fantasyland (Mr. Toad, Snow White, Matterhorn, Dumbo, Carousel, Canal Boats) within the 60-90 minutes that followed.

After that we raced over to DCA to do Toy Story Mania right when that park opened (10 AM).
